The three worst things about dorm life are: 1. Lack of privacy 2. Communal bathrooms 3. Bad roommates The Bed Den will help you solve at least one of those problems. Share a room without giving up your privacy. Instantly transform your bed into a completely separate space for you to comfortably spend time in. Read, do homework, catch up on social media or just relax in your personal space without peering eyes, or the feeling of too much openness. Zip up the large Bed Den door to create a completely enclosed space that reduces light from outside, allowing you to sleep better and feel separated from whatever your surroundings may be. Most practical uses: college dorm rooms, military barracks, shared bedrooms, light-sensitive sleepers. Less practical (more fun) uses: instant fort! You’ll be hibernating like a bear soon in your brand new Bed Den. Just open it up, allow the tent to spring back to shape, insert the four support poles into the slots that run along the top and bottom of the inside of the tent, and you’re ready! Slide in a mattress for ultimate comfort and support. Our design features two square mesh windows that will keep out bugs, two large zippered doors that can be secured open using built in ties, a window curtain that can be secured open or closed for more privacy, closable cable access ports and interior pockets for phone chargers and other cables. Please note that the mesh windows do not open, they are permanently secured in place. This is designed to fit a twin-long or twin-xl mattress found in most college dorm rooms and bedrooms. Using the Bed Den with other bed sizes will compromise the stability of the tent. The dimensions of the tent when it is assembled are approximately 79 inches long, 39 inches wide and 38 inches tall. What’s included: BedDen Privacy Tent Fiberglass support poles (4) Instruction card Carrying bag

Very easy to assemble and take down, if you put in the effort and watch the videos
All of the negative reviews seem to have the same general theme. People think its too hard to set up. It is literally the easiest tent device that I have ever set up. What it takes is a little practice and some patience.1) If you are planning to use this temporary, practice setting it up, taking it down, and packing it up a few times. I had it down after 3 practice attempts.2) If its sagging, you have to straighten it out. The metal in the tent coils automatically for storage. To fight this behaviour, the whole thing needs to be straight. You can achieve this by setting it up, and grabbing one side by both corners. Give it a few firm shakes, and it straightens right up.3) For packing, go to youtube, and watch one of the videos. Several people have posted them. After doing it a few times its a breeze.4) having a mattress inside provides stability. If you don't have a mattress in it, it won't stand upright. I use an air mattress, and it works great.Bottom line, this works great, if you are a little patient and willing to try to work with it. If you arent, spend double the money on a more expensive model. They are a bit easier to work with. I'd rather spend that extra 60 bucks on a good bottle of whiskey though.

Perfect for humans and dogs!!!
I bought this for my nephew when he was coming to stay with me for the weekend. I figured he would love it and I would be the cool aunt! Turns out I don’t know who loved it more.. him or my dog!! Every time we couldn’t find our dog we would catch him taking a snooze in the bed den! I definitely would recommend this! I figured I would take a chance on it and I wasn’t disappointed at all! It was packaged nicely, easy to figure out how to set up and was very sturdy. It also was breathable for when we wanted to zip it up! I will be buying more of these for the rest of my nieces and nephews... and dogs :)

not what I expected
kinda flimsy and poorly constructed, caves in the center, not very supportive but still a little fun, needs better instructions/directions

Better off with a cardboard box
Doesn’t block out as much light as the product images seem to show. The material is flimsier than expected, the poles are difficult to insert, and I can’t get it to fold back into the carrying bag. Also, one of the flaps was sewed to the bottom zipper so it won’t open unless I cut it.

Privacy at its finest
Best tent ever!!! My son loves his privacy option especially since he shares a room with his younger brother. He absolutely loves it!

Poorly made.
Poorly made. All the seams for the support bars were poorly sewn so the bars slip out and it collapses on me. Inconsistent see jobs all across and one seem was ripped when I pulled it out of the case. Very cheap, and hardly blocks any light.

Not enough support structure
The pop up bed would not stay up and kept folding on itself in the middle. It’s a very flimsy product. There are only two bars holding it up where other pop up bed brands had at least 4-6.

Collapses
Material is flimsy and poles were not easy to find/insert. One side of the tent keeps collapsing; tried fixing the side that collapses, but its cheapy and won't stay up. Not worth the money at all...very disappointing!
