False advertising....the tubes are not 0.15 oz! The chapstick I made on the left is from the people I usually buy from and it fills to the bottom(also 0.15oz tubes). The tube on the right purchased from here only fills 3/4 of the way! I'm too embarrassed to give away 3/4 filled chapstick. It'd be a rip off. Gave it 2 stars only because they were bpa free and made in USA.

I’m extremely frustrated with these tubes. They don’t screw down fully, so you can’t fill them completely. They’re also slimmer and slightly shorter than the brand I’ve used in the past, and don’t fit securely in my lip balm filling tray. Because of this, melted balm went all over my counters and the tube sides. I had to remelt everything, clean the tubes, and refill using a pippette. Still unhappy with the measly amount they hold. The picture shows the brand I’ve used in the past on the left, and the Mary Tylor Naturals brand on the right. I also don’t like the clear lids, they aren’t appealing.

These Lip balm containers hold much less than I thought but they don't leak and function well. Overall happy with purchase. Sure beats buying three dollar lip balm when I can make all natural at home. I used two tablespoons of beeswax, shea butter, coconut oil and thirty drops of peppermint oil. Melted together in a mason jar placed in boiling water and then used a straw to pipette the mixture into the tubes.

These lip balm tubes are high quality and they hold exactly what they advertise. Those who suggest the lip balm tubes do not hold the full amount are likely basing their lip balm fill amount based on eye, rather than actually weighing them! Some lip balm tubes wind all the way to the bottom and are slightly narrower. These are slightly wider and only roll three quarter down. But they are a standard size. I have been making lip balms for several years and I have purchased poor lip balms tubes before. Those came with flimsy caps that cracked or broke when the tubes fell, or they leaked, or were too small. These lip balm tubes are not even in the same category as those! The plastic is heavy and a truly glossy bright clear, not a cloudy ugly ivory clear like others I have purchased. I did find that about a tenth of the ones I ordered, and as you can see in the pics, we made a lot for my daughter’s wedding, had off centered or tilted adjustment center winding rods. However, that doesn’t really show and they work, so I wouldn’t worry about it. I experienced no leaking at all! I highly recommend this brand.

Buyer be ware!!! I am SO glad I purchased these to make as gifts for free and NOT to sell! You can only fill these tubes 3/4 of the way. When I Did fill them all but 5 leaked!!!! This is a poor product! I am highly disappointed! I purchased these bc they were made in the USA and were BPA free!

I bought these to make lip balm from organic raw cacao butter. I made sure the oil was room temperature before pouring into each tube. With minutes the oil dripped down to the bottom and started leaking. I tried to see how many leaked and of the 10 filled only 2 didn't leak. (See picture) Don't waste your time buying these. I don't understand all the good reviews unless I just received a bad batch? Anyway am trying another brand that has prime shipping.

I like these lip balm tubes for the home made lip balms I used them for. They are sturdy, the caps are fit properly, bpa free and fda approved made in USA are why I got these. I am not thrilled that the tubes don't go to the bottom when turning them down to fill them with product.....there's wasted space that could be filled but the tubes don't go all the way down. Out of the 25 tubes I ordered and received only 2 did not work...those tubes would not go up or down so not terrible and I'll probably buy them again unless I find a brand with all of the things I like and the tubes go all the way down.

I was really excited to use these, but the caps did not fit. Unfortunately, I had already poured my lip balm mixture into the tubes, and once cooled I proceeded to cap them. only some off the caps "clicked" into place and even then would easily come off. I wasted a whole batch of good oils on these tubes. I would not recommend.

It says 0.15 oz, which it's not. In a pinch, I needed these, but what a mistake that was! I would say you lose almost half the lip balm tube to the twisty thing at the bottom. For almost 0.34 cents a tube, this is kind of a rip off, I also feel guilty selling this to my customers because its like buying a half the lip balm...

These balm containers are advertised as being .15 oz, however, the base that holds the balm only goes maybe 2/3 of the way down the tube, so you certainly can't fit .15oz of product in them. I wouldn't dare try to sell lip balm in these - it would just look like you're trying to cheat customers. Might be good for samples or personal use only.

The lids on these tubes do not click on - they just fall off. Waste of money. Very disappointed. Already filled the tubes so cannot return. Will never buy again.

These hold 25% less than the ones I purchased previously from another seller (50 in a white box). Of course if they hold less, you have to use more. They look the same size, but the base that pushes the product up is placed much higher and you cannot move it down before filling. I definitely will not be purchasing these again.
