Great for the money!!
I was not expecting much as this little solar pump was so cheap - but it arrived yesterday and even though it is not the brightest sunshine today in Georgia it is still tinkling away happily - it is only Day One so we will see how it lasts hence only 4 stars but I love it and hoping the birds will too! Fits perfectly in my ceramic birdbath and is discreet enough to not show - the squirrels are fascinated by it!

Birds are happy
I have my solar fountain in a bird bath. Loved the spray and so did the birds. Unfortunately I was putting water in continuously. I finally just took the top head off and while it isn't pretty, it keeps the water in the bird bath. Birds still love it, so I'm ok with that.

It works, but only in full sun
I bought it for my bird fountain, and I have to returned, because is not working out of the full sun, and is not battery charge. On the sun yes is working very good.

Nice - but didn't last long
I bought this item last September as a Christmas gift for my dog and I had no intention of using it until this summer.....so too late to return it. Why for my dog? She is not allowed to be near mosquitoes so I wanted to put this aerator in a birdbath to keep the water moving and eliminate the possibility of mosquitoes breeding in stagnant water. It worked great for 6 weeks. Not just worked to keep mosquitoes at bay but it also was a lovely feature to the birdbath as well. However - last week it just stopped working. I thought this was solar power. We have lots of sun right now. No fountain spray. Very annoyed and now we are going to have to deal with mosquitoes. And too late to get my money back. Sad.

Doesn't work well at all!
Expected a little more out of thing fountains. Placed it in our bird bath and tried numerous levels of water to see if it made any difference, but even with the direct sunlight hitting the bird bath for several hours, the fountain was sporadic, and intermittent. the sun must have to be directly overhead to get enough sun to work. Tried both, same result. And that would be at the suns position at 1-2:00 for 5 hours, consistant.

Nice little solar fountain
For the most part the fountain met my expectations. However only one of the spouts works as well as I hoped. It is a good buy for the money.

Great Little Pump
It's exactly as described. If the sun is fully out you get quite the show! Delivery was expedient & was happy to receive it far sooner than expected.

Only works with the Sun and not in the shade
Did not realize it only works when the sun is out. I guess I should not have expected to much, because of the cheap price.
