Amazing product
It's a great shop. The detailed product introduction makes me feel professional. Timely customer service and quality of the product deserves a five-star praise. The sleek appearance and very slim silhouette motivated me to buy it. Before I use , I read the instructions carefully and then asked IPO 's customer service some questions. They told me that I can use a surge protector/extension cord. Meanwhile they provided me lubricant oil to lubricate the treadmill and told me in detail how to use it. As soon as I plug in, the display screen is on and easy to read. I can't wait to try it. According to the instructions, I started it with only three steps, and the display screen in front was just the right size. It is really convenient for me to start exercising immediately whenever I want.

Slim and sleek treadmill. Just plug in and start walking! Love it so far!
I just got the I-PO Smart Walk slim treadmill two days ago and have been walking on it for an hour per day (30-45 minutes twice a day). So far, I really like it. The treadmill weighs about 64 lbs but luckily, I have a very nice delivery man who carried the box into my house for me. The treadmill was very well packed and once I got it out of the box, all I did was plug it in (it is 3 prong, 110v) and it was ready to use. I want to mention though that the cord is pretty short and it needs to be plugged in directly to the wall. Using a powerstrip is not recommended as per the manual. So you need to put the treadmill right next to a wall outlet. Also, the Smart Walk needs to be on a flat hard surface like tile and not carpeting. If you try to use the Smart Walk on ANY type of carpeting (including berber), it will emit a high pitch screeching sound because it looks like the belt is getting caught on the carpet because the treadmill is so thin. So since our entire house is carpeted with the exception of the foyer (and I'm not exercising in the foyer), we needed some sort of hard flooring to put over our carpet. We ended up getting some 2'x2' (24"x24") DRICORE panels that lock together (from home depot) and we used 6 pieces to create a hard floor area over the carpet. Then we put the Smart Walk on top of that and it works fine. Despite being so thin, the Smart Walk treadmill does have a substantial feel to it. It feels sturdy and not flimsy. I am 5'4" and the treadmill was wide enough and long enough for my stride. In my honest opinion, I think someone who is 6' tall will probably think the running board is too short for their stride. The hand rail is included with my unit and is nice if you need something to hang on to. The Smart Walk runs very smooth and appears to be well made. If you walk in the very front of the treadmill, it goes faster, the middle part of the treadmill is constant speed and walking on the back end of the treadmill will slow you down. I got used to this by the third time I walked on the treadmill. As for how quiet this treadmill is, there is a sound when I walk on it but it's more like a soft motor sound...a soft whirring. It's pretty quiet. If it is screeching, then you probably have it on carpeting or the belt is off center (more on that in a minute). The manual needs to be rewritten though and warranty information needs to be included in the manual (I was told by I-Po that the warranty is 1 year). There is an allen wrench that came with the unit but no directions as to what to do with it. I figured out by myself that the allen wrench was probably for use in centering the running belt which I noticed was drifting to one side on my Smart Walk. On the back of the Smart Walk, there are two bumpers and in each of those bumpers are hex screws. I looked at the treadmill and noticed the running belt was drifting to the LEFT side, so on the LEFT bumper, I inserted the allen wrench in the hex screw and turned it one turn CLOCKWISE. Then on the OPPOSITE side, I inserted the allen wrench in the hex screw and turned it one turn COUNTER CLOCKWISE. I walked on the treadmill for 2 minutes and the belt centered itself. There were no directions in the manual regarding this but I figured it out myself. Also, you are suppose to lubricate the running belt and again, there are no directions as to what kind of lubricating oil to use and how to lubricate the belt. I emailed i-Po Run with a question regarding lubrication of the running belt and they emailed me back right away and promised to send a video and more pictures on how to lubricate the belt. Edited to say that IPO has sent me a bunch of pictures on how to lubricate the belt. Basically, you tilt the Smart Walk on its side and lubricate the belt from underneath the treadmill. If you tilt the treadmill on its side, you can slide your hand between the underside of the belt and the bottom of the running board. There is some slack there. You apply the oil to the underside of the belt and then run the treadmill so the oil gets distributed. I would suggest that I-PO also add instructions on how to center the belt (edited to say, they also sent pictures on this but I already figured it out on my own). It is important to note that the manual clearly states that you should not walk on the Smart Walk continuously for more than one hour to prevent overheating. The unit will automatically shut off after an hour of continuous use as a safety measure. I walk on it for 30-45 minutes at a time, a couple times a day and it seems fine. As I have only had this unit for 2 days, I will update my review once I have had the Smart Walk for a while. I was a little nervous to buy something that had virtually no reviews and with customer support coming from someone in China but they seem very responsive. I am impressed with both the Smart Walk and their customer service at least so far.P.S. I did a short video too.

I am very happy with the treadmill
I got this space efficient treadmill to put in my work office so I can take advantage of the bits of free time I have in my day to get exercise. I am very happy with the treadmill. Even though it is very slim, it's very well constructed, and I can jog on it securely. It feels solid. You can get in a nice brisk walk, or a leisurely jog. I do wish it had a mph display, instead it counts steps. It does keep track of time and distance however, so you can figure your speed using those numbers. Other than that small factor, I think this is a wonderful tool to have. It has solved my time crunch issues.

I love my Smart Walk
I love my Smart Walk! Replaced a large treadmill that was bulky and too large for my small space. I am a small body frame and walk, do not run. We put the Smart Walk on a piece of plywood on carpet and it works perfectlh after it learned that I am not a child. Great safety feature!! Anothrr good feature is that i can see over and through it while watching TV whereas I vould not see over the console of my other treadmill. GREAT PRODUCT!

Beautiful design-Sleek, Sturdy, Space-saving & great customer service
I chose the I-po Treadmill Smart Walk because of the sleek, durable, space saving design. This treadmill looks like a beautiful, slim Smart phone. The treadmill comes in gray or pink. I got the grey. I enjoy the way it looks and functions. The last thing I wanted in my home was one of those ugly, hulking, Darth-Vader sports club model treadmills. I have had the treadmill for about one month and have enjoyed using it every other day. Also the customer service is excellent, very responsive. Within two weeks of the purchase I got an email from the designers inquiring about my questions, concerns, suggestions for improvement, and general experience with their product. I wrote back a suggestion and a question. They responded within less than 24 hours showing how they had clarified their maintenance institutions with enhanced online videos and written instructions. I was very impressed by their commitment to building a great after- purchase connection with their clients. If the customer so wishes it, the designers seem eager to remain in contact with the customers so that they can continually improve the product by listening to us. It seems that as soon as they get a good suggestion, they quickly implement it.I chose this treadmill after extensive research. I consulted Consumer Reports recommendations, Amazon search, and general treadmill research outside of the Amazon site.I also researched the organizations that gave the awards to this treadmill. --the Red Dot Design Award and another sports equipment award-(both are international design competitions). These awards gave me the confidence to try this new design from a company that was new to me. (I was wary of purchasing a treadmill online because such an item is costly, physically large, and would be a hassle to return.) Fortunately, I am very pleased with this treadmill.

Light weight, Easy to Hide
This was the perfect treadmill for me. It fits easily under my bed so it takes up zero space. It was easy to unpack, set up, and use. I’ve only had it for a week so i can’t say anything long term, but so far I’m very happy!
