X-ActoZ Replacement Blade, 100, Gold Count

This product was as advertised. Not much to say beyond that, they are good sharp blades that last a while and fit perfectly in my x-acto brand handle.

What prompted me to order this set (as I'd used these in smaller packs before) was needing to get a new replacement pack and the Blicks local tome not having it in stock. I still needed replacement blades, so bought a small pack of regular x-acto brand blades. I found I was having to use multiple in a week where I normally can use one gold series blade for weeks or months without feeling I need to replace it.The very narrow tip is prone to breaking, which is just something that happens for me with all blades this shape. But it's still usable and cuts/doesn't often detract from usability (and when it does, I just use a fresh one for that project then go back to the older one for as long as it's good before replacing). I heavily use x-acto blades for cutting out intricate pieces for collages and projects, as well as to cut down paper neatly, so am frequently using the same blade and it takes quite a while before it needs to be replaced compared to the regular blades.I will repurchase when I finally manage to use all 100.

I bought one of these 100 packs 3 1/2 years ago. My blades were very good, clearly legit. I don’t know exactly how many I’ve used, maybe 20-25. It’s nice to not need to worry about buying blades every couple months. And the 100 pack is way cheaper than buying a couple blades at a time. I use my Exacto knife for almost everything cutting related, so I love these.I’ll usually get out a new blade if I have a project that requires fine detail, and these blades have always done well for me. I keep the old blade and use it later til it’s too dull or broken.I have a few Exacto knives lying in multiple locations in my home. Whenever my little nephew comes over I have to hide them all.

These are great. I purchased these more than a month ago, and I cut corrugated box samples on a table every day. I used to use the same brand, but of their standard quality, and it was not uncommon to change blades at least daily, sometimes two or three times a day if multiple samples were required. Since receiving these, I have used, maybe 1/2 a dozen blades. While these are pricey by comparison, their longevity is more than paying for the difference, PLUS the downtime I have for blade changes.
