Dried more quickly but only so-so for wrinkle prevention
Evidently most people are unaware that a "very" small piece of a dryer sheet—which btw are available unscented—can accomplish what an entire sheet can.So since a box lasts me for years I purchased these primarily to deter wrinkling and found they reduced drying time instead. I used 6 for each load since I have access to two dryers. They failed miserably for reducing wrinkles in several lightweight cotton knit T-shirts, so I was very glad to have Downy Wrinkle Releaser on hand. They did well on heavier knit tops though, and fwiw on flannel PJ bottoms. I was amused to see how far they managed to work themselves into the legs by the end of the cycle since they remained due to no concerns about wrinkling. And they noticeably shortened the drying time for my two dense Grund Organic Cotton Reversible Bath Mats.Where they also failed was in static prevention because the Antron nylon lingerie in the load snapped, crackled, and popped when removed from the dryer. Not good since that's primarily why I use dryer sheets. And yes, if you make clothing yourself they can stand the heat of a dryer. So I will continue to use these but along w/a small piece of my unscented dryer sheets and a bit longer to see if I can improve their performance.

Less drying, less waste!
Slowly converting my home to use less plastic and create less waste. These are great replacements for dryer sheets! They don’t shed. They decrease drying time. And my laundry comes out soft and chemical-free!I was a little concerned about static and cat hair, which the dryer sheets kept down. I haven’t noticed a difference in either, except if I run the dryer too long/too hot and then the static can build up a bit. I’ve found I can dry most loads, including towels, on medium heat for 40 minutes or less and everything is good. I increase to 60-70 minutes for blankets, but still on medium. These really do help with dry-time.And the bags for storage are super cute and useful. Overall, a great product!

Excellent product at a fair price
Love these dryer balls!!!! They haven’t broken down like other brands I’ve purchased in the past. I have a family of 5, and at least a dozen loads of laundry per week. I will purchase again in the future.

works - I like them
new dryer, so might as well try them out. I like them. First thing I noticed is that they definately keep the static down. They also keep the towels and sheets from tangling quite so much. I at first thought they didn't help with drying better/shorter times, but I've concluded that I was wrong. I've been washing/drying identical loads several times a week for a while now due to odd circumstances. When I use them, the towel (and everything else) comes out dry. When I don't use them the towel is still damp and I need to dry it alone for another 15 minutes, and if I let things sit in the dryer a bit I need to redry the whole load because of the damp towel. So, dryer balls definately work to help drying as well. These particular balls seem well made. I like that they come in both dark and light balls. I only need to use about 3 per load. I'm grateful that these DO NOT smell of lemon, or anything else. People can add some essential oil if they want scent, but please keep making products that don't come pre-scented.

Worked Like A Charm
I was impressed with just how well these little guys did. They did make my clothes dry faster and I would swear that I used a fabric softener only I know I didn't but they felt like I did. They also cut back on the static I usually get whenever I mix something polyester in with cotton. I will continue to use these every time I wash & dry. The only thing I don't know about is towels since I have not washed a load and dried them with these little guys yet. But I would definitely recommend them if someone were to ask.

Energy Savings, Soft Clothes, No Chemicals!
These wool dryer balls are amazing. They have reduced my drying time by about 30 minutes for large heavy loads (towels, cottons) and by about 20 minutes for permanent press or delicate loads. As my electric dryer is the second biggest energy hog in my house after the central air system, I can already see the difference in my electric bill after using them for a month. They are unscented, which I prefer. They do help reduce static and wrinkles, too. I used to use liquid fabric softener, but I have stopped using it altogether since I got these wool balls. I find clothing is soft enough for my hubby who has sensitive skin and relatively static free as long as it is not over-dried. Not having to use fabric softener is a savings, too, and I like that we are using fewer chemicals in our laundry. Best of all, they prevent things like sheets and blankets from balling up into one lump in the dryer. I used to hate finding a big sheet/blanket lump where the outside is dry but the inside is still wet, or having to babysit the dryer, pulling the sheets and blankets out several times and rearranging them in the dryer to prevent the wet ball phenomenon from happening. I have recommended these to several friends and have already bought a couple extra sets to give to frugal family members for Christmas... I know they will appreciate the energy savings too!

AWESOME!
My co-worker mentioned that she uses wool dryer balls and that it helps with dry times and the freshness of your clothes vs using dryer sheets. I ordered these bad boys and was excited to see if I would get similar results. I have been struggling with my laundry smelling fresh and dry times that take forever. With 4 people to do laundry for I was desperate for any small change that would help. These got the job done! I love that it came with dark and light options. I use them every time I dry and I will say, my laundry now holds the smell of my laundry soap and I am no longer using dryer sheets!

Love them~
These work great to fluff up the laundry as it's drying. Drying faster? Maybe, if it is, I'm not noticing a huge difference. What I have noticed though, it that when I dry certain items that notoriously take longer than the rest of the load to dry, they (Those items) seem to be drying faster. So, yes, they improve drying and drying times overall. I do love the fluff factor that they lend to the clothes, sheets and towels. Hard to explain, but VERY glad I have them.
