You're essentially paying $9 for one sweater pattern
It says there are "8" sweater patterns in here, but it is really just 1 with 8 variations. The variations are: hood, collar, ribbed cuffs, v neck, buttons or ties, bobbles, ruffle trim, or picot edge. The sweater part mostly stays the same and is in worsted weight yarn, which looks like cheap acrylic to me. The one on the cover is the most attractive & the ones inside look kind of tacky & with bad color choices (brown bobbles that look like.... food or something worse? Eh). Because of this I chose to do EZ's knit version which I think looks a lot better & more refined. But now that I finished it that thing was a beast and took forever, so I wished I did this one just in colors/yarn I liked. That's what I get for being a snob right? Like baby is going to know it's an EZ sweater knit in Noro! For alternatives Jenny King's version on Ravelry is $6.99 and if you knit to buy Elizabeth Zimmerman's book that has it is $14+ so this is a decent deal especially since you can just make it over and over for everyone's baby. I like the simple style the best even if it is $9. It's a large pamphlet like you can buy at the crafts store, not a "book".

nice book
nice designes, colorfull, but No patterns! I crochet the first yellow dress but it wasn't right! Then i stoped crocheting the dress, maybe im not expert enough to do it rught! Lack of pattern make it hard to understand and avoid mistakes. I don't reccomend it for beggeners. If you are looking for lovley designes go for it

very cute
It is basically only one pattern. Just a little variantation. but very cute and very easy. (I am an experienced knitter but a begginer crochetter). I changed it a little and made a sweater for my doughter. I am very sutisfied by the outcome

I like it
I do however like some other crochet baby books I have better, instructions are better etc. Although I do love the one piece of the projects. But sometimes in my case anyway, you get to work it better by all the different pieces.

great
I love this book. I've been seeing this sweater on Ravelry and been wanting to make it for a while. Even though it's basically the same sweater with different additions, like hoods, collars, ruffles, etc. It's very practical to have this so you don't have to figure it all out, it's right there in the patterns. It's great inspiration too for different color schemes.

sweaters for baby from Leisure Arts
I would recommend this to any of my crocheting friends. As usual for Leisure Arts, instructions very clear. I do not think I have ever ordered something from Leisure Arts I did not like.

Very sweet
I found the pattern very intriguing, I couldn't tell which part I was working on until about 3/4 of the way through. That said, the instructions make it easy to construct the sweater so that your work finishes up looking just the way it should.

usa book
Disappointed with this book. Description did not state it was USA terms but worse is that it's very thin only 33 pages. It does have 8 sweater patterns but they are all the same style just a different stitch. I don't think it's worth the money.

great pattern
Your finished piece of crochet is a very peculiar shape, but folds into a neat little cardigan. I've made 3 already, since it's so quick and simple to work. There are also lots of possibilities for customising your work, this is a pattern you can be creative with, it's also good for using up odd balls of yarn.
