Perfect
Put it together this morning. Very easy to insert batteries and thank goodness they use AA. I have these around all the time so I see this as a plus, no specula battery purchase. And thank you for the alignment mark. You won't notice it unless you need to put batteries in. Nice touch. Same thing for the salt and pepper compartments, it was so easy to lock on with the icon. This is the fanciest salt and pepper shaker that I have ever owned. Grinds perfectly and I love the adjustments at the bottom. The holder is great. I could pick it up and relocate to multiple ares in the kitchen with one hand. The soft copper look is stunning. beautiful accent and great function. Thank you

Love this set!
These are awesome! Right off the bad they look great on my counter and table, the copper finish is more of a rose gold and very pretty.Functionally they are great! They have a number of different settings that allow you to decide how coarse or fine you want your day and pepper ground. The single button operation on to is easy to use and the led lights are a function I didn't even know I wanted until I got these! It's awesome to be able to really see how much salt and pepper come out!

Looks good but needs attention to keep working
I like the set except you have to monkey with them to keep them working. They frequently stop or jam. Once you can get them working they work well. Despite the hassle I would still recommend this product.

Pricey for the item
It looks nice on the outside but the grinder and battery holder looks substandard. A bit disappointed with it being pricey and the inside components look cheap.

This, is genius.
I ordered this for my many friends and family for a reason. This to start with it has a attractive design, which is always nice. It is flat out impeccable being a stainless steel construction, strong steel grinding mechanism, durable, affordable and having a 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE. Did i forget to mention that you just need one hand to operate it? What else could be better than this? Well let me simply tell you that nothing can.

Poor quality control
After placing batteries in both units, one unit did not function. Replaced the batteries. Still nothing. After examining the components more carefully, I found that one of the circular copper contacts was actually corroded to the extent that there was no contact with the battery. After cleaning, and scraping the contact, the unit now works. There were no batteries included with the pair, but there was sufficient corrosion on a brand new product to make it inoperable. I suppose the origin of the products should explain the problem.

Exceptional quality and value
Attractive set with stand, nice touch! Grinds with ease and quickly, allows for adjusting coarseness. Added light a plus so one doesn't over salt or add too much pepper. Price is exceptional compared to other models with same features. Uses only 4 AA batteries instead of six like some others. I use mine everyday, batteries still strong after two months!

The item worked well for the first month or so and then the motor wore out even with grind adjustment.
