Wish it heated equally
We were looking for a new heating pad for our frog tank, and we set this one up. It heats up nicely, but there's uneven heat distribution. One side heats up, but around the edges its a bit more hotter than the center. It was easy to install overall.

Works Great
This is heating my 44 gallon tank with hermit crabs and is keeping the temperature right where it needs to be.

Adhesive failed
The adhesive doesn't work well. I'm using aluminum tape that i had laying around to fix it.

Great deal
Seems to work really great for its made for. Easy to set up and start using right away. The price on it was surprising not too bad either and the overall quality is on par. Easy to control the temperature which is of course important.

Not just for reptiles!
I actually ordered this for warming our seedlings before transplanting. I use a large, restaurant-size baking sheet and put the warmer underneath it. I didn't put any seedlings directly over the warmer, but I let the baking sheet disseminate the heat to the rest of it. It provided enough heat that my seedlings did just fine in our cool house before the transplant. It's easy to use, the control tells its own story.

Heats up tank a little bit
I ordered this Lucky Herp 6x8 heating pad to warm up the sleeping area for my Russian Tortoise's tank. The primary heat element can't be inside his little house because it gets too hot, so this provides a good supplementary heat source. I stuck it to the tank directly next to his sleeping area, and our heat thermometer tells me the pad is about 10 degrees hotter than the surrounding area. The heat doesn't seem to travel very far, though, and only heats the area around it by about 7 degrees. This is better than nothing, but not as warm as I would like. Perhaps I should have ordered a pad with more power since this is only 8W, but at least it provides some heat while he sleeps. It is easy to use and has been stuck to the tank for weeks without coming loose at all.
