They don't fit a rigid one inch diameter tube well.
These cleats are moulded with internal splines so when they are fitted to a rigid one inch tube, the bolt holes cannot be aligned. They may work with a cable if the sheath is compressible, but on a 1 inch tube, they are not really much use. I can't slate them, because I haven't tried them on cable!
