Our unique sustainable Merlot Mango Wood End Table, Stool or Stand 14 inch Diameter Top x 15 inch Diameter Body x 11 inch Diameter Base x 20 inch Height with Natural Food-Safe Livos Mocha Oil Finish is inspired by the rounded shoulders of a traditional Merlot wine bottle; it presents gently sloped sides that add curve appeal. Our sustainable Mango wood comes from plantations. Livos Oak oil creates a water resistant and food safe matte finish. The light and dark portions of wood turn to darker shades of brown over time, and the alkaline in the oils creates a honey orange color. These natural oils are translucent; the wood grain detail is highlighted. There is no oily feel, and cannot bleed into carpets. Craftspeople from the Chiang Mai area in Northern Thailand create these unique pieces with the simplest of tools.
