The media could not be loaded. Being a fan of mechanical keyboards, I was interested in giving the Qisan Mechanical Keyboard a go. In the box you get the keyboard and a colour matched USB A to USB C cable. The USB A receiver for the 2.4GHz wireless mode is handily stored underneath the keyboard with a magnet holding it in place. The supplied instructions are fine for basic operations but there is information on the product page for the lighting functions.I used the 2.4GHz connection, and while the instructions stated the receiver came pre-paired, I had to reset it to get it to work, this is covered in the instructions.First impressions were excellent, the keyboard is weighty with almost no flex thanks to the metal back plate. The weight and rubber feet allow the keyboard to stay well planted on my desk.It is worth noting this is a US layout keyboard, something that was not an issue for me as I touch type. For those looking to get into mechanical keyboards at a low price, you can just replace the key caps impacted by the US layout.Using the keyboard, I was easily able to hit my typical word count with a minute or so the keys have a nice amount of travel a defined click as you’d expect from the blue switches. Back lighting is white only, there are some animations but I just like having the shine through and for that the included key caps are great.I really was impressed with the keyboard for the money, a great starter option if you can get past the US layout.
