The fingertips became holes after a couple of months use. This was done with an Aga which is a bit hotter than normal ovens (it's quite possible to get a baking tray to 320C), but it's not -that- much hotter. Certainly nowhere near the gloves' 932F (500C) claim. However, until the material sublimed or otherwise disintegrated, they were much nicer to use that the usual mitten type things. If my oven stuck to the usual 240C max where I imagine they'd be fine, I'd be happy using these.

Super heavy duty, I think I could pick up a burning log and not feel it! (But I wouldn't recommend it...)These are reversible, front and back for either hand (which took me a minute to understand what the arrows across the palms meant). They are also quite large.

In the recent cold weather, loading, stoking and moving stuff in my wood burner was resulting in a very hot hand (yes, I was using tongs) So I got these. No more singed hairs on my wrists and fingers.

It works really well but are enormous so doesn't really take much less space than oven gloves in my opinion.

much better than normal oven mitts good heat insulation but need to be careful with steam as steam or liquid will get through, personally I'm delighted with them

Good quality, exactly as described, prompt delivery. Haven’t used them yet but they feel like fire gloves I use in work so hopefully they’ll be as good quality.

These are absolutely brilliant for cleaning my mf stove

A bit large for my small hands but do the trick.
