I’ve owned quite a few Sofirn’s at this point, so I know they are quality flashlights at an excellant price point. This is my first headlamp, it’s very bright and functional with the different light options (triple emitter, large single emitter, both single and triple, and then the red light. Also comes with a quick activated strobe, USB-C charging port and comfortable head harness. The light rotates on the harness easily and adjusts conveniently to where you want it. Lightweight, ergonomic, and a blast to use! A+ once again from Sofirn

This headlamp is very bright and has lots of modes and features. Great for the price. Once you learn the interface it's easy to get what you want. Feels very solidly built. The headband is comfortable and allows for the light to be easily positioned and snapped in and out.

This has been a pleasure to use and exactly what i was looking for. I wanted a 90 degree light with magnet base and head lamp clip and this fit all the check marks. Very well built and i find the moonlight option that you get to easily by a long hold to be especially useful at night when i just need a bit of light and don’t want to disturb others. The red light is an excellent addition especially when with others so as not to blind my friends when at the camp fire. Very happy with purchase.

I own an HS42 and another older Sofirn which I often use mounted to a bicycle plugged into a power bank for longer run times. This one was interesting because it had a blinking red light that might be used on the rear. Unlike the other two lights which retain all functions while plugged in and charging, this one is limited. No higher power mode, no blinking mode and no red mode while plugged in. 90 degree lights are great to clip on your shirt but this one doesn't come with a pocket clip which limits its use for general purpose. When used as a headlamp, the power button is on the side, so it's hard to operate with one hand. You have to grab it with the left hand to stabilize then click with the right hand - both hands up on head. The high power mode of 2100lm is greatly over-stated because it's no brighter than my other lights from years ago that are rated at 800-1000lm. So, it's not a bike light. It's not a general purpose light. It's not a great headlamp. It's not as bright as advertized. Hmmm.

I really like this flashlight, it's a great allrounder. I like that all modes have a moonlight option including the red, and all have turbo which is consistent. I really like the flood and spotlight integration, this means you can use it in many different scenarios making it very versatile. having both pointing in the same direction gives nice versatility.Maybe a better UI (two buttons?) could really help it and an added clip would be nice. Also I don't know how the front glass will do but a front metal lip could add some protection. The headband is great and you can easily remove the top part of it should you want to. All in all 5/5. I might get another but these updates would be nice.

I just bought it a few days ago and it works well, but the charging indicator light stays red and never goes green as I expect it should when it reaches full charge. I've tried several different cables.

I've owned a bunch of headlamps in the past and this one finally checks all the boxes. A flood light (CSP2323 5000k), a spot light (SST40 6000k), and a red light (HFL1-R) all in one. Plus it's rechargeable with the provided USB-C cord so you never have to swap batteries.It's comfortable to wear and feels lightweight. The headband clips the light in for a sturdy hold but you can easily pop the flashlight out to hold in your hand or attach it to something with it's strong magnetic tailcap.Light output tops out at 2100 lumens which is way more than you really need for everyday tasks. Thankfully the UI is very intuitive and you can select between moonlight, low, high and turbo in each mode. Flood for broad lighting up close and spot for a decent hotspot at some distance.I also enjoy the 4 click lockout feature, useful when you stuff the light in a bag and don't want it turning on by accident.I think Sofirn hit it out of the park with this headlamp.

It’s basically a flashlight in a headlamp holder. Both on its own are great quality and well thought out. Together it’s a really great combination. Learning how to use the modes takes some thinking, but once you’re used to it, it’s got a lot of features.

Ich habe die Sofirn HS42 Stirnlampe jetzt seit einigen Wochen in Gebrauch und bin absolut begeistert! Die 2100 Lumen Helligkeit machen die Nacht zum Tag, perfekt für meine Abendspaziergänge und beim Camping. Die Lampe sitzt bequem auf dem Kopf, nichts rutscht oder drückt, selbst nach Stunden.Die Akkulaufzeit ist beeindruckend. Selbst bei der höchsten Einstellung hält sie länger als die meisten anderen Lampen, die ich bisher hatte. Die Wiederaufladbarkeit macht sie umweltfreundlich und spart auf Dauer Geld.Was mir besonders gefällt, ist die einfache Handhabung. Die Schalter sind auch mit Handschuhen gut zu bedienen und die verschiedenen Leuchtmodi decken jede Situation ab. Auch die Tatsache, dass sie spritzwassergeschützt ist, kommt mir sehr gelegen.Kurz gesagt, die Sofirn HS42 ist eine erstklassige Stirnlampe, die jede Erwartung übertrifft. Klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, die eine zuverlässige, leistungsstarke und einfach zu bedienende Stirnlampe suchen!

Mir gefällt die Lampe sehr gut nutze diesen zum spazieren gehen. Für das Joggen oder Laufen würd ich sie eher nicht empfehlen, da sie schon etwas schwer ist.Für meine Belange super.Auch die neue Befestigung gefällt mir besser wie bei anderen Lampen. Geht viel schneller so die Lampe vom Kopfband zu trennen.Helligkeit ist absolut ausreichend. Sogar mit dem Rotlicht sieht man genug , wenn sich die Augen daran gewöhnt haben.Mir gefällt die HS42.

Also diese kleine Stirnlampe ist echt ein Licht Monster !Durch die Verschiedenen Modi hat man immer das richtige Lichtfeld für verschiedene Situationen, einzig das durchschalten der Modi ist ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig tut die Einsatzfähigkeit aber nicht einschränken.Der 18650er Akku ist Wechselbar und wenn man die passenden Akkus hat ist sie auch für Dauereinsatz geeignet

Als Jägerin verwende ich die Lampe nachts im Wald. Sie hat eine wirklich gute Leuchtkraft und der Vorteil dieser Lampe ist, dass man sie auch gleichzeitig als Taschenlampe benutzen kann

Lange nach einem guten Ersatz für das 1 lumen Rotlicht der alten nitecore nu25 gesucht und diese gefunden. Super verarbeitet, hochwertige Verschraubung. Noch gutes Verhältnis von Gewicht und Leistung. Das obere Kopfband ist hier super.
