My son has autism, and I can say this product is a God send. He was non-verbal. After using this product for the first 3-6 months he started making eye contact and showing emotion. After a year, he has started counting, saying his alphabet... We still have a ways to go but wow what a difference this product made! Amazing quality. We put some in his smoothies. I add some to my tea and it clears the brain fog. I won't buy another brand's lion's mane because Purity's premium quality. I really hope they don't lower their quality as we will continue to buy from them. They also ship really quickly.

I read that Lion’s Mane mushrooms help with memory loss, so I went on Amazon and searched for it. This brand popped up and I bought it. When I got it, I was immediately impressed by the packaging. It was triple bagged!! Then the seller offered me an e-booklet to explain the health benefits of Lions Mane as well. I will admit that I was skeptical at first, but I was determined to try it. I have ADD, and I get easily distracted and then completely forget what I was doing all the time. It’s very frustrating. I also had both parents pass from Alzheimer’s so memory loss is a big deal to me. I am always on the look out for reliable sources to help with it.I started putting a tablespoon of Lions Mane Mushroom powder in my smoothie every day. I was shocked at how quickly I noticed a difference! I would still get distracted, but I started remembering things after being distracted and going back to them!! I kept telling my family that it must be a placebo effect or something! But my memory definitely improved!! When I ran out of the powder, I decided to wait and see what would happen, and sure enough, my memory went right down the drain within a day or two!!I quickly went back on amazon and ordered some Lions Mane powder thinking I was getting the same brand and product, however I accidentally did not order the same one. I noticed immediately that the packaging was not the same. It was not even double bagged. I used it anyway, and I will say that my memory did improve slightly, but it was no where near as dramatic an improvement as it was with the Purity brand. Used the product for 3 days, was confident with the good reviews here. This stuff is VERY potent, pungent, and the smell is quite noticeable before you even open the sealed plastic bag within the outer pouch. Note that I tried the recommended amount of 1 tsp of the powder up to twice a day.Day 1: Tried it in my tea, flavor of the Lions Mane Powder was extremely overpowering. I struggled to finish it, but did.Day 2: Mixed it in my morning smoothie, could tell it was the dominant flavor, but got through it. Later on I tried to mix more in my yogurt, but it does NOT work well at all with semi-solid foods. It tasted rather disgusting.Day 3: Tried another smoothie with Lions Mane, but I threw it up after finishing about 25% of the smoothie. I felt nauseated throughout the morning. I am now aversive to the smell and taste of this Lions Mane powder. I will be returning this product.I had an interesting effect on Day 3 where I was very productive at work, but it could have been a coincidence. Hard to conclude if it had any cognitive effect on me. I will be trying the capsule form of Lions Mane, which I anticipate would be much easier to consume. I had no idea it would be this hard to consume. I'm curious to how most of these reviews were able to hold down / tolerate this powder as 1 tsp seems like a lot to mix in common foods/drinks.
