I'd like to know who's in charge of QC
I got this delivered to my house while I was out on the road because I'm out for up to 60 days at a time for fires.I set this up and it ran for a few, then "CLICK" lights out.Seeing as I'm past the 30 days to return, I opened it up to see what exactly failed. This unit has obviously been refurbished or has been severely abused or mishandled profusely. This is not what I expected when I forked over my hard earned cash for a faulty, mishandled product.

I don't know how this has a 4 star average?! 1600watt can't be $125 unfortunately
I usually don't take the time to review much, especially if it's negative! because every negative review i leave i feel obligated to give good reviews to the items and transactions that went smoothly on a good or great product... but with this PSU i felt that i just needed to warn other people that think they found a deal on a mining PSU, cuz ya didn't, and you gotta be extra careful because this same power supply is listed in at least 3 places that i have seen.I started out the setup with just the MOBO and a single GPU, then added a second, then finished setting up the 6 card rig that this power supply was meant to power, and it worked for a couple days, maybe less. it failed under a 800 watt load!! it's rated at 1600, and no you don't wanna run a power supply at more than 80% of peak for any extended duration, but i NEVER exceeded a 1000 watt total at the outlet.Basically from all my trial and error endeavors mining I have learned that there's just no cheap 1200-1600 watt PSU, and if you find one it's probably not gonna last. I think the only way to get more power for cheap is to incorporate the server style power supply into your system as a secondary, boosting your total potential which is what I'm going to attempt next. From 3 years of mining I have a small pile of EVGA PSU's oddly since i always liked their brand and build quality but I have had more EVGA PSU's fail than all others combined. I've had the best luck with Thermaltake, corsair, and odly enough Rosewill. I mean I beat the crap outta 2 rosewill PSU's 24 hours a day running at 80% load and they just keep ticking

VERY loud
It was the only 1000+ watt power supply available from 4 different sites when I needed one, I would not buy this again for a desktop machine. It's mean to be constantly running 24/7 and it does that great, but if you want hear your speakers or talk on a mic, forget it. Thanks to Human Malware I will have to live with this, but I never run it for very long without ear protection.

Doesn't work
It works for couple hours then out of nowhere a loud pop then it stop working. Better spend more and have a reliable power supply

CPU cable missing (only 1 of 2) and one SATA cable missing
I have a motherboard that takes two CPU cables. I read that this has two CPU ports on the actual power supply, but for some stupid reason they only send one cable. Same with the SATA cable- why skip sending one of the cables? Therefore, I have to give this a score of 1 star because I am unable to use it completely.

Looks like 2 CPU rails, but only 1 cord
If you’re looking for a power supply that has 2 12V rails, you’ve found it but this one only comes with a single 12V cord so it won’t do you much good.
