Small is just the right size, very solid too
I hesitated on buying this, I'm so glad I did. I love it. It's very heavy duty, not thin metal. I just burned it enough for a single s'more. It got hot around it, as expected, but the (very) sturdy legs were not warm at all. So I would even say I would use this in an apartment too. (Darker pic is just foe size comparison)

Excellent cast iron wood burning stove for traveling.
There's nothing like cooking over a fire, but sometimes a fire ring just isn't ideal. This is a great solution for that. The stove assembles quickly and easily, and is sturdy once it's all put together. The grate on the top is perfect for a 12" cast iron pan, or you can cook using the flames themselves. Cleans up easily once cooled, and tucks nicely away in the included bag. Definitely fun to have while car camping.
