RJCWomen's Classic Hibiscus Hawaiian Mock Wrap Sarong Dress

I was not impressed with this item. I had really high hopes for this item, I was going to cut and resew the top of the dress in a different way using this as the base, but after trying it on I decided it was so not worth it. The small I ordered was wayyy too large on me where I would have to hem it in the bust, shoulders, and around the waist. I showed in the pictures how large it is, very loose and can be pulled out far from my body (note fabric is not stretchy). It also is very unflattering on my body type. The fabric was also so stiff and uncomfortable, I would say it's like a burlap cotton that one could use as a tablecloth. The tie was more like an apron than a cute ruffle in the skirt and could be pulled out about 6 inches from my body. Definitely not what I imagined based on the picture. Lastly, which really unimpressed me, was how wrong the color was. I ordered the royal blue because I wanted a color that was a brighter blue and the navy blue looked almost black in the photos which was definitely not what I was going for. I attached photos that show the amazon listing on top of the dress and you can clearly see the difference, it looks closer in color to the navy blue than the royal blue. I showed my mom the color and she also agreed it is not royal blue and is closer to a dark navy blue than royal.Overall I was really unimpressed with the color, sizing, and overall design of the dress. I wouldn't recommend anyone purchase this for anything more than a quick matching family Hawaiian photo because the quality is not up to par to anything more than a 20 dollar photo.

I love the style and print. I read all the reviews. Most said it ran small, but some people around my size said it fit. Then my measurements indicated I would fit a small. So I ordered a small. Although it fit me perfectly on the bodice of dress, it was just a little tight in hips. So I ordered a medium which does fit better in the hips and is overall fine as to size. I normally wear a size 6, but for this particular dress, the medium worked better. I wish it were a little longer. It’s about 4 “ above the knee. I’m older and would prefer length to come to the top of knee, but my daughter says it looks fine.It’s 100% cotton, so even though it says it can go in dryer, I think I’ll let it hang dry.

fits snug and runs very small, but really cute

I purchased this for a trip to Hawaii. I am returning it for the following reasons: 1) it really does run small and I goofed up on that point, and 2) it's not lined. I'm 5'4" and weigh 122. I normally wear a M in dresses. I ordered a M and should have ordered a L, though I'm not sure there would've been enough arm hole coverage if it had been a L. The dress actually fit fine in all areas except the rib cage/bust (I wear a 36C bra). I loved the length (a couple of inches above my knees), and the wrap-style was very flattering over my somewhat round belly (I've had abdominal surgeries over the past year, which have left me looking like I'm in a second trimester pregnancy). The dress has no lining, so it would be very comfortable for warm environments, but I like dresses to be lined. I'm just more comfortable with an extra layer. The dress may require ironing after washing. Overall, a beautiful dress, just not right for my needs.

Purchased a Large in the red after reading other reviews stating it ran small, it does!! I normally wear petite s/m (4'11" 125lbs.) The large fit just right & length was about 3 inches above my knees. It is 100% cotton so I will be careful putting it in the dryer since as I mentioned it fit just right :) You might want to run an iron over it but I plan to wear it on cruise/beach vacation so I won't be to worried about that. The wrap is a mock wrap which I will appreciate not having to worry it coming undone as we dance and enjoy. I plan to wear casual white sandals with it but I think you could fancy it up a bit with necklace and some cute sandals or heels. I had intended on only wearing it on this trip but after trying it on I plan to take it on a few more trips too. I think for the price it was a great find. If your looking for a Hawaiian dress don't hesitate to give this one a try.

Really cute and perfect for summer vacation but too small. Darn. Mostly tight in upper body ... I'd order at least a size or two up....

Makes curvy people look boxy, not figure flattering if you have larger hips and chest. Wanted to love it but just didn’t
