Alright IF you want to mount your Echo down by the floor where the outlets are.
It would be okay, IF I wanted to mount my Echo Dot down near the floor where the outlets are! Which I do not. This is designed to mount around the charging unit where it plugs into the wall. If I had an outlet higher up on the wall it would be great but my house doesn't have that.Good point would be that it does grip the unit quite firmly leaving no fear if it falling out or being taken out by curious children.

Declutters perfectly
Great fit, works well. I can see where over time the weight of the echo makes the harness slide a little so you have to push it back flush, annoying but doable depending on where your mount is located.
