Great news everybody: I was able to confirm that the RP case fleas for version 4, and it was shipping a RO5 case box. With the help of Amazon customer service, wecontacted the seller and the seller promptly shipped a replacement case to me. It will arrive tomorrow. Great save from the seller on this issue! Here is the original review: . I’ve had this kit on my desktop for a couple months. This review is about the case, not the RP5. But as the first step is assembly, and I can’t, the whole user experience is a loss for me. The case included in the kit is labeled RP5, and is supplied by iUNiKER — I believe this case kit contains a case that fits some previous version of the RP form factor. The ports don’t align, not even close, there’s a hole for a 3.5mm jack which isn’t on the RP board any longer due to HDMI out. The Ethernet and usb ports are swapped. In short this CASE DOES NOT FIT RP5. Not even close. So now I have to pay for a new case and am out that money. So this case is incomplete and a poor value for money in my estimation. Performance is rated at 0%, and not easy to use given the fact that I can’t assemble and test other hardware components.

The Raspberry Pi is great to be used as a server for home applications, and during the process you will learn a little hacking and security. It also has GIO pins (generic input output) that can be used in many projects, from engineering and robotics, internet of things, up to do real science in your home physics lab. The starter kit has the basics to assemble a working server (downloading the FOSS software needed for the project).

This Raspberry pi5 is faster than the ones I already had. It is a complete computer with wifi, Bluetooth, internet and 8 Gig of ram. It is suitable for carrying out computer projects. It is very compact. I recommend it.

Only reason it's not five stars is the case is a little cheap feeling. Other than that, it's running basic computer functions very well and it's super quiet. Very enjoyable little project.

Directions for assembly were concise and clear. I didn’t time it but couldn’t have taken more than 15 minutes to assemble everything. The case fits the new Raspberry Pi 5 form factor perfectly including adequate space and vent holes/slots to accommodate the heat sink/cooling fan, which is very quiet.

I’m running a retroarch gaming os on it. It’s super easy to assemble and works flawlessly.
