The range hood finish (stainless steel) is good and it is pleasing after installation. The light, power and fan buttons are nicely located and these features work well. Light from the two bulbs are adequate. One nice feature with this range hood is that the vent for interior discharge is on top of the unit so that it is not visible when the installation is set for venting outside. Installation instructions were clear and simple. The components to facilitate "single person" installation are useful.Some caution for anyone who may be replacing an old range hood with a new one: It may be preferable to buy a new unit whose dimensions are nearly identical to the one that is being replaced. Particularly, if the depth of the new product is more than the one being replaced, careful planning is required. I replaced a Broan unit (17.5" depth front to back) with this Winflo unit (18.875" depth) and the old unit was vented outside. Dismantling the old unit, including the duct, was not hard. But, putting the new unit in became quite challenging. It is definitely a two person job. Still, I could not use the old duct even though it was in good condition.Now for the negatives: If the exhaust from the hood is to be vented out, the unit will require two persons to install. The screws supplied with the unit have small heads with the result that these slipped through the adjustable holes (4 key hole shaped holes). The holes on the left side (as viewed from the front) were difficult to access even with lights on because of the eccentric location of the fan unit. Even though attachment through 4 holes are theoretically sufficient, I screwed in 2 additional screws because of the access issues. In my opinion, the operation cannot be called as "quiet". It produces as much sound as my old Broan unit.

Looks way better than my old factory 150 CFM model. This unit say it's 350CFM but I sure can't tell by the way it pulls smoke. Hard to measure but certainly not double my old unit. Also unit is noticeably stronger on the left side due to fan placement. Like most people I know; I do most of my cooking on the big front burner on the right side soI feel this could have been designed better had they just put the fan more to the right.

I installed it and it looks great with our kitchen. The design is perfect and the stainless steel was flawless!!! The construction is good…very sturdy. Fan noise is very good compared to my previous hood. I recommend this product to everyone. Exactly what we were looking for.

The Range Hood is well made, but was somewhat difficult to install. The noise level is on the high side for all three “levels”. Everything considered, though, I’m satisfied with the product.

Loved the mounting brackets. Instructions easy to follow. Wear gloves; easy to get cut on the metal. Wife loves the LED lights. Exhaust fan efficient; vents air well.

This unit is sold as either ducted or ductless. We needed it for a ductless undercabinet installation. Installation was pretty simple except for manual being written for about 8 different models and by a non-native English speaker. We were replacing a 20 year unit and were hoping for something infinitely better--wrong...Noise of the fan even on lowest was intolerable. We also had to invent a diverter for where the air comes out the top so it didn't hit us directly in the face--that helped with the noise somewhat. we are now installing some sound deadening felt. The lights are ridiculously marginal---2 2watt LED bulbs----we called company to complain and they said they were more efficient---2 4 watt bulbs would also be incredibly efficient and perhaps light up the cooking area. ALso nowhere on order form does it say you need to order the charcoal filters ( necessary for ductless installation) separately-all in all a very disappointing unit--we could have returned but are spending precious time modifying instead of the hassle
