Neck Support Travel Pillow for Airplanes - Highly Adjustable Plane Pillow for Traveling

I am so happy to have received this for my trip to Italy tomorrow! I was a bit skeptical about this because the ratings seemed too high, but right when I tried it on, I knew it was quality stuff.First things first: this is much more comfortable than it looks. I have a tough time sleeping while sitting, but I may be able to pull it off tomorrow... finally.It comes with instructions. The most important thing to note is you’re supposed to thaw out the microbeads from behind you so that you can lay your head flat on your seat’s headrest and maximize the fullness of the pillow where it matters (sides and front).It comes with two pairs of earplugs. Ones that you store on the blindfold itself, which I didn’t even notice in the listing the first time, so that’s a bonus, and ones that come in a fancy screwcap keychain container. I’m sure these earplugs are easy to lose, and this was cleverly designed to prevent that. I still prefer the earplugs on the blindfolds as the second pair are redundant. The container is great and I will make better use of it to store something else like aspirins for my trip. The earplugs themselves aren’t very effective. I don’t foresee them blocking the loud low-frequency sounds of jet engines but rather possibly blocking the higher-frequency sounds of people speaking around me. Not super ideal for travel but still better than nothing, I suppose.As you can see, there is more than enough space in the bag to store its contents. If you’re in a hurry, it’s very easy to stuff everything in the bag, as opposed to many other kits I’ve purchased that come in bags.The bag comes with a detachable strap that allows you to tether the kit to your luggage, so you can save space and still have the convenience of packing it with the rest of your luggage. The stitching of the bag strap doesn’t appear to be high quality; however, the button on the strap is. It’s snaps on very tightly and requires a fair amount of force to detach it. Michael’s wife here: Planning for my 2-wk Thailand trip and needed a travel pillow for a 12+ hrs flight. I hated the traditional U-shape pillow because it pushes my head forward. Not comfortable at all. After about 3 weeks of researching all these new travel pillows in the market with mixed reviews, I gave up. Then on May 22nd, I looked again and saw this. I immediately placed an order after reading the great reviews. Here’s my take:Pros: I can flatten the back part so it doesn’t push my head forward. It comes with a sleeping mask that has extra fabric extending towards the nose to block extra light from coming in. The strap on the front can be adjusted to tighten or loosen. I love the little storage compartment for the earplugs. Pretty neat invention. I’ve tested the pillow with my back and head flat against the wall and it worked perfectly. I tilted to the sides and forward and had no issues. The fabric is cool to the touch.Cons: NONE!!!I Faced Time my sister to demonstrate the product and she loved it. Now she wants one too for the Thailand trip. As soon as this item is in stock again, I’m buying them for all of my family.

I really wanted to love this product, great reviews reasonable price and just want I was looking for. First reaction was great it is light reasonable size and looks well made. Then I put it on and the buckle would not latch no matter how hard I pushed. Looking at it I thought the male buckle was a different size than the female so it could not slide in far enough to latch. But played with it for 10 minutes, tried to find another buckle to swap it with (could not find one the right size) and the only option I could come up with was to glue it together and just slip the pillow over my head. We leave on a long flight soon so no time to return it.Then I broke out the tools and discovered that with the right tool and leverage you could force the buckle to latch, but if you undo it I need the tools to get it to latch again. I tried bending the arms that latch it into place out, and found the plastic is very weak not like a normal Nylon buckle at all. The buckle is not very high quality compared to everything else and I think will be a constant struggle to latch. This may be a one off issue but it will make using this on our trip much more difficult.Good news is once I got the buckle to latch and slipped it over my head it is very comfortable so it would have been a happy 5 stars had the buckle actually worked.

I fly often and decided to invest in a neck pillow for the flights. I did a lot of searching and reading to see which one would work best for me.Pros: The cushioning is great. Not too soft, not too firm. Comes with a bag to carry it around with you and keep it clean. Comes with eye mask. The pillow is also great because you can snap the ends together so that the pillow doesn't move around or fall off your neck. I've sat next to other passengers that wish they had mine because their's kept moving or falling.Cons: Wish they had more colors to choose from.Overall: Awesome product and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who travels a lot.

I didn't dislike this and it got me through 2 long and tedious flights between Asia and US but it wasn't the wonder pillow that the reviews made it out to be, at least not for me and my family (I also ordered them for my husband and son, and the consensus was "It was okay...nothing special." and "It's no different from the other ones we've had.".) It's soft and comfortable, but didn't offer *that* much support for my neck...my neck was still falling to the side a little more than I wanted it to. It was okay.
