Princeton Artist Brush, Set 9121 4-Pc Camel Hair

Why get your hair wrapped around the axel because these are synthetic? Camel hair are about the WORST brush you could possibly buy. ("Camel hair" brushes are not even really Camel hair, and are a crapshoot at best.) To be fair, these aren't t bad brushes. Admittedly mine are still new but they hold a nice shape and are probably a better brush than my ability. I have expensive brushes too but I'm not going to try to tell you I'm a better painter when using them. In the end, stay calm and go push some paint around. You did not overpay for these rather nice brushes.

Great brushes, ferrule is nice and tight and no hairs have fallen out. Unfortunately they are not what I really wanted. I need soft brushes and I didn't realize Camel Hair was so stiff. It's just as stiff as my Nylon brushes, so I killed a Camel for no reason.

excellent for acrylic paint

I wanted inexpensive brushes that could be used in a way I would not use my good brushes. I ordered "Camel Hair" brushes, but received "Synthetic Hair" brushes. The item numbers on the packages match but the package descriptions are different. I found the camel hair brushes locally. Seeing the two versions side by side, I see how it would be easy to select the "wrong" version. There should be some way (e.g. a suffix on the the item number) that differentiates the two versions

these brushes are ok, but the description says "Camel Hair" and the label on the package says "Artificial Hair".
