Please, Sir, can I have some more ...
Late in reviewing a Christmas treat though it's none the worse for that. Very, very, very tasty and very, very, very "Christmassy". As I live alone now, I use this Christmas Log like I use many other things, both sweet and savoury. Just cut a thick slice and gently fry it in butter whilst deciding what to put over the top of it - cream? custard? drop o' brandy maybe?I have a very small frying pan that I use for not only sweet treats, but also slices of black pudding, Haggis, Clootie Dumpling and so forth, though I have to say a slice of this Christmas Pudding Log has been the very best thing to come out of my small pan.

A real taste of Christmas past
Light, moist fruity and full of flavour with nothing artificial at all, this Christmas pudding log may seem a little unusual when you first receive it, wrapped in plastic which is in turn wrapped in cloth, tied with red ribbon. But the beautiful way it is displayed offers a hint of the taste delight to come. It’s light in texture but so full of flavour, just like Christmas puddings used to taste. Absolutely worth every penny, you will not be disappointed.

This pudding has been fully cooked and is ready to serve or be reheated in one of the following ways:BOILING: Remove Card and ribbon, leave the cloth in place, retie pudding firmly at each end with string,submerge into a saucepan of boiling water and cook until reheated (approx. 30 minutes).Do Not boil dry. OR, MICROWAVING(based on 750 Watt): Remove card, ribbon, cloth and foil wrapping. Pierce the film and cook on full power for 2 minutes per 500gm.
