We have a lot of humidity in the house and in the summer some of the interior doors stop wanting to latch closed - including the door to the attic which curious cats kept entering! I researched solutions and due to the custom-made nature of the door frames this seemed like the best option. It works great! I was worried that the velcro would stop holding together over time but so far it's still sticking strongly. I have no idea how easy or difficult it will be to remove the adhesive tape should we ever decide to remove it, but it's working as intended and we're pleased that we can get our doors securely closed when needed.
