"You Are Uniquely Designed For The Destiny God Has In Mind For You" battles back Excuse #8 of my chances being "too slim". If I measure myself by the world's standards I will always fall short. Fear of failure tends to rule our decisions and it halts our actions into a holding pattern. The truth is God uniquely designed me for a destiny! God of the Underdogs is so applicable. It transcends age, race, background, culture... it is a common denominator we share to feel like an underdog. No more Excuses! Thank you, Pastor Matt, for reminding us we are underdogs to be believed in, and we have a God who is for us!!

Slightly repetitive or stale writing at some points, but very enjoyable. I read it with a couple friends from work and we had discussions and prayed together, it was a good catalyst for getting us talking. In great condition even used, looked nice and brand new.

This is a wonderful, uplifting book! My daughter's pastor is the author and he is a dynamic communicator and effectively makes the point that God specializes in using "underdogs" for kingdom purposes. The reader will come away with, "If God could use the characters in the Bible, he can certainly use me!" Easy read, keeps your attention and I love the use of scan codes at the end of every chapter to listen to a short audio segment from the author.

Changed my life. The way I look at challenges, the praise I give the Lord when I am walking through fire, my self-esteem, everything.Great for late teenagers and young adults.

The more I learn about God the more I realize that I cannot comprehend how great His love is. We can never repay Him for the sacrifice He made for us. Even our "works" pale when compared to His acts of love. O, Lord, how excellent is they Name.

I think this book is inspiring encouraging and beneficial to so many of us that allow our situation dictate our promise..... I give this 5 stars because it's a book that keeps you attentive in the most simplistic form...

The book was very good I expected a feel good type book after seeing who reviewed and did the forward to the book in that way it didn't disappoint however not theologically deep and mainly the author's story on his church plant over and over with bible big players interspersed

This book is for those of us who are underdogs. It gives you the courage and strength to pursue your dreams and aspirations knowing that God has a plan for your life. Read this book if you feel sometimes that the odds are stacked against you.

Thank God that He really is God of the Under dog - brilliant and so helpful
