IMPORTANT!!! Clean the inside of the straw by scrubbing with the provided pipe cleaner and using hot water with concentrated dish soap.When I did this cleaning, there was a dark grey oil that appeared on the pipe cleaner brush. This is probably cutting oil from the factory.Also, I’m not 100% sure that the filter cage (threaded holder basket for the filter piece) is Stainless Steel. All other pieces were slightly magnetic using a very strong magnet, but the tip was not. That could mean aluminum, or a much higher grade of stainless than the rest of the assembly.If the tip is aluminum, that’s all bad. Coffee is acidic, which will quickly corrode aluminum, and that means you’ll be drinking aluminum oxide, which is the stuff they’re removing from food and health products now due to health risks.The rubber mouth piece on this is poor quality, definitely not silicone. I don’t mind using the straw without it though.

I bought it to take to a friends house that doesn't have a coffee maker. I knew I would be there 2 days. I was so sceptical if it really would really work. I was so amazed, happy, thrilled. I even could use my creamer. It tasted like it came out of my coffee maker. So handy to take when you know you are going somewhere. I'm used to drinking coffee through a metal straw so that didn't bother me. Plus I think it was easy to clean. What a great value over buying horrible instant.

The media could not be loaded. The straw needs to be made longer for to go bottles this is a 24 oz bottle. The straw was also to wide/thick to fit through the whole, the round accent behind the black mouth piece is too big, so I had to use my nail drill to saw the whole a few centimeters wider. The filter works great for my herbal teas especially ones where I use White willow bark and Saffron which can be split we like. The black tip is very protective for teeth

This straw works great!! I am so thankful I bought it. I use it a lot on night shift to drink loose leaf teas. It filters and cleans up easily! I think I am getting a second one just to have two!!!

This is as cute as I hoped it would be! I might get another to see I get a different color!

I totally read the description wrong. It is just a glorified straw with a filter that has a rubber end piece ( so you don't burn your lips off) that has a gap and provides a much less than elegant circumstance. Imagine slurping soup at the Ritz. I'm keeping it because it was my fault I bought it. Not reading the description properly

Easy to clean and cheaper than other brands and still good quality.

Lightweight, very simple design. With the mouthpiece it leaks a little air when you take a sip, but it's no big deal. You can take it off if it bothers you. I tried it on my sailing ⛵️ yacht and it worked great. On a backpack trip you just can't beat fresh coffee made the simplest way possible. Almost no weight at all. My only suggestion would be to make the carry case black. It's white and will likely get coffee stains...oh well....
