Great unit, works well and looks good.
Works a treat. So good I ordered a 2nd one. NB to check the plastic roller for the HDD is present on its eject lever arm (internally) - mine was missing on the first one and it's now too late to send back. (I was using the SSD tray only for a while). 2nd one arrived, swapped the roller over. Now I have a spare unit on the shelf in case this one packs-in, and will just swap the roller across if required.Really like the brushed aluminium finish. Looks good in both black and blue. The door mechanisms work well too.The toggle power switch is useful to have. It does both drives simultaneously, but I like that you can isolate the drives easily this way and prevent the system from seeing them when you don't want it to.Each drive slot needs its own SATA data connector, but they share a power cable via a jumper, so both drives run off just one SATA power connector.I've been using mine for 3 months now, no issues. If the seller sees this and is able to send me a spare plastic roller for the HDD lever do get in touch. It would be much appreciated.

Really nice quality and well built
Bought this as I really needed a way to quickly insert and remove SSD cards. I'd previously bought a cheaper one and it was terrible as the SSD cards wouldn't align correctly with the connectors and it was damaging the cards. This one on the other hand is excellent. The 2 x USB3 ports on the front terminate in a 20 pin IDC connector which fitted to a socket on the mother board in my newer PC (around 12 months old) but no such socket on my older PC.This unit contains no active electronics, so all this business about HOT-SWAP etc is a load of rubbish. SATA is hot swap If your PC BIOS supports it and it's enabled, which it wasn't on mine by default. Quick tinger in the BIOS and it now works perfectly. You will need one free SATA power plug and 2 free SATA data cables if you want to use both bays. It's been commented on that the door for the lower bay seems to sag a bit under it's own weight. There is a fair amount of play in the hinge; probably to enable it to cope with slight tolerance differences on drives so you do have to sort of lift it when closing but it's really no issue. All in all, a really nice piece of kit and well worth the money.

Brilliant little unit. Makes much better use of space on my desktop pc, and the extra two usb outlets are a handy addition.

and a beautiful chrome cover to finish it off
First ever Mac Pro upgrade - RIP DVD's!After 3 painstaking days the job is done! Now that DVDs are dying and I needed more hard drives I removed the DVD's doors and cut the mesh between them,Bought a dual Hot swappable drive unit which enable me to have another normal drive and additional SSD, and a beautiful chrome cover to finish it off, the DVD drive is on a USB now.Mind you the whole last day I had spent looking for the f*****g screw I dropped inside.
