WHAT I LIKE. Sturdier than I expected, and while I would have no issue sitting on it, I don't know that I would stand on it. It says it can hold up to 700 pounds - I *highly* doubt that, but I don't have the desire (even at ~200 lbs) or ability to test that much. Not with the fact that it's a fold-able box made of MDF. It is a good height and is able to store quite a bit. The padded top is comfortable and fits securely. The combo lock is easy to set and easy to turn the dials. The zipper pulls fit securely in the lock without issue, and the release button works smoothly to pop them out. The zipper opens and closes cleanly without catching. The handle on the box is helpful and appreciated. I like the mesh pocket in the lid - a nice addition for storing papers and small items. The black faux leather is attractive and comfortable to the touch. And I love that you can fold it back up small and flat when you're not using it. Several months using it and it's held up just fine.WHAT I DON'T LIKE. Really, nothing. At least not about the product. Does everything it's supposed to and does it well. My only complaint is the 700 lb weight capacity claim. With it being a fold-open box made of MDF, there's just no way. I would be very concerned about someone 300+ lbs trying to stand on it, trusting that claim. Other than that, this works great!OTHER. I can't attest to the fireproof or waterproof claims. I don't have a reason to doubt it, but I'm also not willing to test it out.

It was perfect for storing my essential emergency things in one place and just looks like a piece of furniture! I would question that it is fireproof, but it is nice looking and sturdy enough for me to sit on. I love the size.

Pretty cheap in build and looks, but not bad for the price. I feel it could be more affordable for the build, but it works like we need. Wish locking it wasn't so cumbersome, we wind up leaving it unlocked mostly. I do like the size, it fits so much. Perfect for blankets, or adult items you want to keep out of the night stand and public view. It does hold a good amount of weight on top, but if you shift, it feels like it will collapse. (Though it hasn't) Worth the buy, does what you need.

First off, let me say this: I really want to love this Ottoman. Why wouldn't I? It's a really nice ottoman that's not only fireproof and water proof (allegedly), it also locks, which was the main selling point for me, so that I can keep certain valuables safe, when needed. Not to mention, it matches both my living room and bedroom furniture beautifully.The problem with it is that it already has a tear on the bottom of it and I haven't even had it 24 hours!!This is DEVASTATING and I'm very DISAPPOINTED, but instead of giving up on it, I'm returning it today and already have a replacement coming Thursday. This time, I know now to invest in something beforehand, that sticks to the bottom of it, protecting it from rips and tears while keeping it still for the times that I want to use it as only an ottoman and dont need it moving all over the floor. I will add to this post after some time after seeing if the replacement works or not...I'm really, really, really hoping it does because now I can't imagine how I ever did without this ottoman all my life!!!!*UPDATE: It's now November 24, 2024, so I've had this ottoman for over 10 months now and I'm still very pleased with my purchase. I'm not sure why the first one got a tear in it, but the replacement that I received in its place has held up just wonderfully. I still can't get over how well it matches both my living room and bedroom furniture and it looks as good as it did on the first day I got it. The locks still work great and I've never had a problem for the times when I needed to use them. I had forgotten to mention the first time around that it's also very easy to clean. I just take a wet rag with my favorite cleaner on it and just wipe it down and that's it - super easy!! I love it!!This ottoman has definitely become a staple piece for me and I am planning on purchasing another. I couldnt be more pleased...

Considering how inexpensive this was, I didn't know what i was going to get. But I am really happy with the product. I bought it to keep things that may be a minimal threat for my grandson accessible for me, but not for him. He is 3 years old. For now, he doesn't even notice that anything is inside of it. If/when he does realize it, he won't be able to open it due to the zipper lock, with combination.This product is not a real safe and doesn't have an unbreakable lock or anything. But it is perfect for what I need it for, at a really good price!

I bought this for storing documents and have since gotten 2 more. I use it to carry food when traveling via auto as I do frequently. I also use it to store toys that my precious grandchildren around the house. They haven’t missed them yet! They are awesome and can also be used as seating if needed.

I bought this in pink for my daughter. It fits at the end of her twin size bed, so it doesn't take up a lot of space. It looks nice, but it's not really sturdy. I wouldn't recommend sitting on it, nor moving it with things inside. My daughter is using it as a hope chest, but I think it would work better for storing blankets. The top tray is a nice touch for little things like photos.

If it wasn’t past the return window , I would’ve definitely returned it . The inside board for the top cover broke partially in less than a month and now one side of this same top piece is completely broken. I’m sure the other side will break soon . Disappointed!!!!
