3M 907NA Small Area Sanding Sponge, 3.75 in by 2.625 in by 1 in, Extra Fine/Fine

This extra-long sanding sponge makes sanding drywall go much faster and it works great in corners. I'm remodeling a couple rooms of my house where I hung about 50 sheets of drywall. I was initially sanding with my Porter Cable electric sander that I've used a lot but not real happy with the results. I needed a new sanding sponge for the corners and so I bought this larger one just to see what it was like and I was instantly impressed. The coarse side can plow through some mud really quick if you didn't get your edges real clean and the fine side is just right. I hold an LED flashlight along all my corners and seams and this sanding sponge is making it look just about perfect.

When I first got this, I thought it looked way too harsh to trust taking the pills off my favorite sweater. But, it is great and gets the job done. My sweater now looks really nice, and it is so nice to be able to keep wearing it instead of tossing it into the donation basket because it was all pilled. Thank you!

Having used the coarser versions of this product I knew what to expect in terms of shape, design, and usage.However, while this is listed as "Extra Fine / Fine", the actual rating of it is very dependant on your project.For sanding raw wood, like smoothing out lumber, this is great. But for sanding between finishes this is not nearly fine enough.I do wish that 3M would put a grit number on this product for it to be more informative. I went and purchased a "3M Sandblaster Sanding Sponge, 320 Grit" for my project after discovering how coarse this was. While it will not work for my current project, it will without a doubt come in handy for future projects. Plus, it is always good to have sanding tools of various grits on hand.

I wish I would have looked at the reviews better. The picture shows a count of six and like the other reviewers said received one single one. Very misleading and sneaky I think. Should make the picture match the item.

Does a great job with the final sanding of spackle. The order page is a little confusing, it looks like you get 6 sponges but you don't, you get 1.

Cut in half to make 2 sanders to use on a dry wall patch. Wet sanded and this got rinsed out countless times but held up very well. Great value

these are great sanding sponges for six-panel doors and trim work before staining. They start out super abrasive and soften up with a few doors or trims. Work well wet too. The edges make it good for getting in corners. These are nice for doing a laquer coat then sanding it and doing another coat. Note one side is more abrasive than the other. The only problem with these is they wear down quickly and are kind of spendy, so bulk up when you find a deal if you plan on going through a lot of these.

No cabe duda que 3M es calidad. Estas esponjas te resultarán ideales para muchas mas cosas que lijar madera. Las puedes usar para quitar algunas manchas de pisos, limpiar los azulejos del baño, o incluso ollas y sartenes. Funcionan muy bien húmedas o secas.. y duran muchísimo.

No habia probado este tipo de lijas y la verdad son muy practicas y durables. Duran mucho mas que las tradicionales de papel, y su soporte de esponja hace que el lijado sea mas facil y deja un mejor acabado.
