This is a really great set of drinking glasses. They are not fine crystal (thank goodness!), but they are beautifully crystal-clear, light in weight, and a comfortable fit in the hand. It is a set of six, and each glass has a bamboo lid that, when pressed gently into the mouth of the glass, actually seals in place. Even if the glass happened to get tipped over, the liquid inside would stay inside. The set includes six drinking straws, and each lid has a hole that is precisely the right size to fit the straw. When there is no straw in use, a clever little flap of silicone works almost like a valve to keep the hole closed -- not a tight closure, but good enough to keep out flies, mosquitoes, and any shedding from trees, etc. Bonus: the straws are the right length to reach all the way to the bottom of the glass, and still leave about three inches for comfortable use. There are two small brushes for cleaning the inside of the straws. I did not think that the brush bristles would fit inside the straws, but in fact the whole brush slides easily inside the straw, all the way from top to bottom, even the bent straws that are also part of the set. There is also a nicely designed cleaning brush for the glasses, consisting of a shaped sponge on a plastic handle. This item has been contoured to fit the inside surface of the glass perfectly, and it is long enough to scrub the inside bottom of the glass. Using glass straws can be a bit of a concern, and I suppose with enough force the straw would break. But the straws feel and look very strong, and I highly doubt that they would break in normal use. According to the listing information, the glasses will tolerate temperatures from well below freezing, to the temperature of boiling water, meaning that they will serve equally well for root beer ice cream floats and hot coffee. For anyone who does not like to use a straw, I found it quite comfortable to drink directly from the glass. I really like this set of glasses, and I can't think of one bad thing to say about them. (If that changes, I will update here.)

Love these! They look great and are super functional. They fit a whole can of drink easily in with room for a bit of ice. They also work well for iced coffees. Comes with a straw cleaner too. Highly recommend.

This is a really nice glass set. You get the 6 glasses with bamboo lids, 6 glass straws (3 straight, 3 curved), 2 straw cleaning brushes and 1 glass cleaning brush (which is a little small). The bamboo lids seal the glasses so you can turn them upside down without leaking provided you are not using the straw. The glass straws scare me a little because I tend to break things but they are a good thickness. I do prefer the glass straws over metal or silicone which can add unwanted tastes to your beverages. I read some reviews that state these glasses are thin. I disagree. While they are not very thick which would make them heavy, I wouldn't consider them thin. I definitely own much thinner glasses. My initial impression was that they were a good thickness, not too thick and not too thin. They are great glasses for drinking outside in the summer when bees and wasps are hanging around. Of course, they can be used year round and can hold both hot and cold beverages.The set was well packed from the manufacturer to protect the product during shipping. This is important to note because I have received too many damaged items from Amazon due to inadequate packing and normally would be leery about buying something like glasses online. You shouldn't have to worry about these glasses.
