i bought this purely because of the good reviews i read
DO NOT BUY... THE BUILD QUALITY IS RUBBISH.. i bought this purely because of the good reviews i read..im so regretting this buy..it is rubbish. The aerial connections do not match, plastic in aerial connection broke off..and because the aerial doesnt connect as you expect it too..hence no signal or channels. R U B B I S H

Useless in the UK if you use an iPad or iPhone
This unit does not appear to be any use in the UK if you are trying to use it with an iPhone or iPad. You need to down load the EyeTV app for the Apple store, but the App is unavailable to download for UK users making the unit totally useless in the UK. I will be returning it to Amazon.

Elgato gets a few channels all the time;It's very complicate to get channels;Only works outside, never at home!

A warning...
This product may claim to be to be "Sold by dureg Express UK and Fulfilled by Amazon". However, it was shipped from Germany and is in German packaging.This leaves a problem: Since it was bought as a Christmas present, do I keep it and hope it works in the UK or do I send it back and have to find another in UK packaging?I also note that since I ordered mine the price has increased by £10, probably because the version ordered direct from Elgato is out of stock.

Bought this to watch some world cup games and also whilst camping.Setting up is simple, download the app and connect to the wireless network. After leeting the device find the channels (circa 60 seconds) , you can start to watch the T.V.Plug in a set of headphones and it helps to keep the missus happy.excellentp.s could do with a dual band systemt so that two kids can watch on two seperate devices.
