The media could not be loaded. I had been searching for an ice shaver so I could make snow cones for my kiddos during the hot summer. But I didn’t just want any ice shaver, I wanted one that has a more snow like texture rather than finely crushed ice. This shaver fits the bill. And it’s very heavy duty. I have made snow cones all summer and I love how quickly this machine shaves the ice. I searched for over a two weeks and finally settled on this because I wanted something affordable, durable and easy to clean and this machine is all of that and more. Easy to use and not as noisy as others. Great little late night find. I highly recommended. Performs great and I think it will last quite a while.

My son loves this ice shaver. Its easy to use and quick to make snow cones. Make sure to keep a large enough container underneath to minimize the mess. Its easy to clean and not heavy for kids.

This is a review of the smaller blue/white modelIt does a competent job of turning ice cubes into shaved ice, although it does leave a few chunks. I have a ice therapy cup which is just the right size for its approx 3" ice chute.It's solidly built of ABS, not flimsy plastic. The instructions are unhelpful at disassembly - you need to take off the handle to add one screw when you assemble it, and the blades assembly requires removing a cover and then backing out a set-screw (deeper than the included, adorable little screwdriver). The assembly then comes out the chute and a cover just pops off from the actual blade set-screws. You can't reasonably disassemble the ice chute from the motor for cleaning.Includes one replacement blade, not a set. They look like they can be sharpened adequately, but good luck finding replacements. Blades are not adjustable.It's a really good deal at the current, < $30 price. I'd probably go with the metal-chute one if they were equally priced.

This is a real ice shaver , I mistakenly assumed that it was designed and made to be used by kids. Nice product but should be supervised by an adult

No es una buena máquina, se ve muy profesional, el hielo no es fino sale muy grueso y cuando quieres ajustar las cuchillas no hay manera de acomodarlas para que el hielo salga fino.Doy un consejo al que las hace, donde ponen el recipiente para que el hielo caiga no debe de haber tuercas porque con las vibraciones de la máquina poco a poco se van aflojando y puede caer en el raspado , la verdad no la recomiendo , la venderé y me compraré de otra marca

First I want to say I purchase this ice shaver with my own money. I was not asked to provide a review.So now to my review. The ice shaver is very powerful and makes a lot of shaved ice perfect for snow cones. The ice is very much like snow which is perfect when you want something slushy or a snow cone. My family has put this ice shaver through some serious torcher just for snow cones. The dual blades make shaving ice so easy with no effort at all. The metal handle is super sturdy and strong. It also has a switch that will trigger the blades to start once you push the handle to a certain point. This will also act as a safety switch if you need to open up the ice shoot for any reason. Just don't go sticking your fingers near the blade unless you are 100% sure the unit is unplugged. The product even came with extra replacement blades and really good instructions. The body is metal and plastic which give this ice shaver some really weight to it. I'm sure my family will get many years of use from this amazing ice shaver.

I didn't know how incredibly fast this machine works when I purchased it I had a little one that took about 6 min to grate the ice to make a picture gull. I was taken aback at the amazing difference this machine makes. You nolonger have to stand. Amd wait. 2 cups of ice is a pitcher it shaves it fine like flurries. Just Like I like it. I will only buy these from now on. Press the handle for 3 seconds and it's. Already done with a large cup of ice. I'm a fan and it's a gadget I like to use now. B4 I dreaded making an icee but now...I love it
