Mastey Traite Shampoo (16 Oz.)

If you haven't gone sulfate-free yet, do it now, and do it with Mastey - your hair will thank you. This stuff will got my hair squeaky clean without stripping it of its natural moisture, and has also keep it hair stronger & healthier in the long run because it's not as damaging as your average sulfate-laden shampoo. Works wonders for keeping colored hair looking bright, too - red is the hardest color to keep in your hair, and it has kept mine from fading far longer than any other shampoo I've used. Has a soft, pleasant coconut scent that isn't overpowering. My only complaint is that this shampoo is thick - it feels more like a deep conditioner than a liquidy shampoo, so it's a bit hard to squeeze out of the bottle. I recommend springing for the gallon size (trust me, it's worth it!)and getting a pump with it. Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants healthier hair!

I learned about Traite in a fancy barbershop called the "Barberman" here in Ann Arbor over 20 years ago. I've been enjoying it ever since. While it may seem pricy, it only takes dime-sized amount to wash a head full of thick hair. I use it on my skin too and still I can go a year on one bottle. It has a subtle coconut odor that my wife likes. YMMV but I think this a great shampoo.

After reading all the reviews of this product I purchased this shampoo... There is absolutely nothing special about it... It is no better nor any worse than any other top of the line shampoo.Certainly not worth the price after paying shipping. I could not recomment this shampoo to anyone. Go to Walgreens and buy a good shampoo.

This shampoo really is pretty great. The lather it gives you, is creamy. Very different than a regular shampoo lather. You need to use a good big amount, but you get a nice cream lather. Also it's a more gentle cleaning and I use this all the time. The smell is not strong at all which is a bonus for me.

for years I used dandruff shampoo, which only made the dandruff worse. A barber suggested a sulfate free moisturizing shampoo and I tried the Mastey Traite. I have been using this shampoo now for over twenty five years and I will use it as long as they make it. This shampoo controls my dandruff and cleans and conditions my hair perfectly.
