This book was absolutely stunning. I am in love with it. It was so much more than I thought it would be, and I don't know what to do with my life now that I've finished it.This is definitely one of my favorite book I've read this year.

Interesting Read
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is a good choice for readers who enjoy romance, life crises, fine arts, and fantasy. It is quite a long read, somewhat moderate to slow-paced so beware of that if you are someone who doesn't enjoy that.

Unique, poignant and compelling read. Absolutely recommend.
My most anticipated read of the year. I will be honest. It was very difficult to write a review of this one. What did this book make me feel? Melancholy, sad and…incomplete. Schwab knows how to write, I will give you that! This is a story about Addie who makes a deal with the devil to escape marriage so that she can travel the world and live an adventurous life. However, as with every deal, there is a catch. While Addie escapes marriage and gets to see the world, people forget her. For her freedom, she is cursed to be instantly forgotten by anyone she meets once she is out of sight. For years together she lives an invisible life, until one day she meets Henry…who remembers her. This story is about Addie’s stubbornness, her sheer will to live life on her own terms. Inspite of being hurt, neglected, abused and forgotten, her determination remains unfazed. There is definitely a romance in the story but that’s not the heart of the book. Addie’s love for life, her wish to create a lasting impression in the world is the center of the story. The biggest strength of this book is Schwab’s writing. It is poetic and engaging and since I love quotes and poems I just loved it!However, I felt something was missing. I was so happy halfway through the book but then I somehow felt lost. I could not connect with the book. Having said that, I found this story quite intriguing. Addie’s loneliness, how miserable she felt - not having any friends, not being able to create memories, and simply ceasing to exist from someone’s life who meant a world to you just a moment ago was heartbreaking.“𝙄𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙖𝙙, 𝙤𝙛 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚, 𝙩𝙤 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙩. 𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣. 𝙏𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙣𝙤 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙚𝙡𝙨𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 "Unique, poignant and compelling read. Absolutely recommend.

The most anticipated book on my TBR!
About the book: Although I have not read the book yet, I can already tell that this is going to be in my Top 5 this year. It is a story about a woman who makes a bargain with a mysterious god. She is given immortality, but in return, everyone she ever meets is bound to forget her. Later on she meets a guy who remembers her and the story continues from there.Product Quality: Recently I've been purchasing quite a few books from Amazon and I can tell that my experience has not been very great with most of the sellers. I was lucky to find this book in a good condition. There's a crease on the front cover other than that the book is in great condition. It came in a bubble wrap which was very much appreciated. The print and page quality is quite commendable.I have given this a 4 star just because of the crease on the cover, the story of the book itself is a 5 star.

Pick your words wisely!
The invisible life of Addie LaRueIn the recent years when I've learnt the art of reading without a physical book, I've earned the perk of highlighting and bookmarking pages without soiling them; a way to get back to the the crux and relish. Addie, unfortunately is the book I've highlighted way too much and a revisit would equal a reread (gladly) !The story of a girl, who lived in a small town and wanted freedom. Her wish was granted, but only at a cost. She will live from moment to moment without belonging to a single one! Freedom comes when there's no belonging, no memory; even to your own name. She belongs to noone and nowhere and is remembered by none. Except, one fine day she meets someone who she thinks is enough, because maybe he remembers...Do we ever know what we really want and yet how stubborn can we get? Are we prepared to pay its price? Can something that we thought would be a miracle turn into a lifetime of mistake? But then, can two mistakes create a miracle again? Can the universe ever err? And in the end, is there an escape door to deals? We use words so loosely that they lose meaning. The journey of a lifetime could change by using seemingly harmless words in the most harmful places! A beautiful word play and a storehouse of personifications! If anything, pick up this book to bask in the beauty of every word coming alive! A story worth a savour!

Check the packaging please but otherwise great job!
First of all Ama, that's Addie "LaRue" and not "Laura"! Second, why the heck my books are getting dents at the corner??? It really made me question the packaging and all. Otherwise, everything was alright. However, I can't help but say,if getting a book delivered within 5 days means it'll get a dent, I'd be more than happy with the usual 7 days delivery. And as you all know, Victoria E Schwab is one heck of a fandom and though I am yet to read this book and any other book,as much as I read from The Savage Song, she has a way of intricating everything printed on the pages. So my recommendation, just go for it. Liking it or not,it varies from person to person.

Great concept, needs more descriptions of environment
A woman living invisibly for 300 years was an excellent concept that made it worth a read. The descriptions of Addie and Henry's emotional processes were a bit overkill. I suppose it fits the overall theme - everyone wants to be remembered - although describing the environments she explores and spending some time on world-building would've been a nice way to balance the pacing. Also all the locations were in Europe and North America leaving it feel biased. I mean she had 300 years. There's more to the world. But overall, good read.
