Cymbomute Set of 3 Cymbal Mutes/Silencers/Dampeners/Pads

Living in an apartment i was worrying about how i would practice in my house without making alot of noise.The traditional 'keyhole' cymbal mutes do very little muting, if any.I stumbled upon the cymbomute trying to find an alternative mute and i can easily say its the best cymbal mute on the market.It fits and around the whole edge of the cymbal so you dont have to worry about aiming for a pad and they mute the cymbal very well.

I bought these for my daughter so she can practice without disturbing the rest of the family. I was a bit dubious given the other obviously fake reviews, and the low rating in the Amazon.com in the US, but decided to take the risk, as none of the alternatives offer the freedom to hit anywhere along the edge.I was pleasantly surprised by just how effective they are, pretty much killing any ring from the cymbals, even if you hit on the remaining exposed metal.Unlike some of the US reviewers, I found them easy to fit, taking only a couple of minutes for all three. I do wonder about durability, being nothing more than a 2" wide strip of fold-over elastic, but my daughter isn't a heavy hitting metal drummer, so certainly for a beginner I wouldn't be concerned. Rotating the cymbal so you aren't always hitting the same part will probably help.All in all, does the job well, but a tad on the pricy side for 3 bits of elastic.

These are perfect for quiet practise! Much better than anticipated and really do the job well without killing the natural feel of the cymbal like some rubber pads can do. Would 100% recommend! :)

Great product - Dead simple, affordable, easy to use, and effective beyond my personal expectations. I can practice in the evenings!!Would recommend all drummers give these a bash... :)

Neat mutes. They are bands of elasticated fabric that snap on over the rim of the cymbal, muting them heavily. You still get most of the feel of stick on cymbal but none of the noise. Great for practicing in the house

These were better than I was expecting. They play just like a real cymbal, but are much quieter, which is exactly what I was after.

These are great! They sound like if you hold a cymbal with your hand and hit it. Great to muffle the sound. Good if you live with people and don't want to blow there eats out. Also very easy to slip on or off.

Hi zusammen: Ich musste länger überlegen, ob es mir gefällt. Das ist aber mein Problem bzw. Geschmacksache. Wichtig ist, die Teile dämpfen die Becken wie verrückt. Übrig bleibt ein sehr leiser metallischer Grundton. Mehr ein Geräusch. Wer also wirklich Lärmschutz für das Üben braucht, der ist extrem gut beraten mit diesem Teilen. Und ob Beckendämpfer mit anderem Schnittmuster etwas mehr (schönen) Ton übrig lassen, ist wegen der gleichen Wirkungsweise sehr fraglich.Das Aufziehen muss man etwas üben. Ich persönlich habe mir mit einer Minischraubzwinge beholfen. Ev. geht auch eine Wäscheklammer. (Ist quasi die dritte Hand, die den Anfang fixiert. Danach kann es ab.)Nachtrag: bezahlt habe ich übrigens 33,99 EUR

Performed as expected! I've been able to play at night while my kids are sleeping. We have a rancher style house with a basement and the drum set sits under their bedrooms. Works great for late night practice!
