This book will make a great Christmas present, or just a present for someone you think may already have everything - there's something for everyone in it. Mrs GMR honed in on the pages that covered getting relief from snoring for some reason while I went for the gadgets of the rich and famous. There is a wealth of detail on the many individual gadgets and apps but Martin Bailey's writing style makes for easy reading and his passion for his subject, which must have required an enormous amount of research, is evident.

SInce i've been quite young i've always been rather tech savvy, but lately there's some great new innovations that i just haven't caught up on. This book has loads of gadgets for solving all kinds of issues you didn't even realise you could solve; and some that are just plain weird! Some great ideas in this book for gifts for family members and friends who think they have everything.My Dad's always loved gadgets and gizmos, so the book's a great gift for Christmas for him too ;)

Since I received the book the day after ordering with my amazon prime membership, I have not been able to put it down. Such an easy read and full of great products. Its already full of sticky notes on nearly every page for gadgets I need/ want, most of which have a free option so no matter what your budget this book has something that you will need. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in making their life easier and more efficient.

Excellent purchase, over 100 useful, futuristic and sometimes a bit creepy (watch and entertain your pet online - or someone elses) gadgets. I'd wholeheartedly recommend getting this book for the coffee table or as a great stocking filler/ birthday present for anyone who could benefit from a little tech help to someone who wants to be at the forefront of modern technology.A wonderful find, arrived quickly and safely.

a fun easy read,looking at loads of different bits of hardware,software and other inventions.While it concentrates on apps and software a lot,there are plenty of other interesting ideas even including cycle helmets and suspended tents.At the end is an amusing section on ideas that never quite made the cut or are priced up for your average billionaire.I enjoyed it

Great book for anyone out there a little unsure of any type of gadget. It really does teach you step by step instructions, for lots of items on the market. Would consider a must have on you xmas list/stocking filler. Great stuff, from techy dog collars to switching your lights on from your mobile phone. Bargain.

A brilliant book, I enjoyed reading about all the new gadgets that are available today and I certainly learnt a lot by reading it. I also like the style it's written in, refreshingly simple, not over complex and to a techno phobic person like me, not scary at all!

An absolute must read for anyone even remotely interested in technology and gadgets.I consider myself to be a relatively tech savvy person but the book has given me loads of ways to utilise my technology better!

Any one of the solutions described here is worth the price of the book. These apps make my smart phone really smart!
