PlaySonic 2 Wired Gaming Headset (PS4/Nintendo DS/Playstation Vita/PC DVD/Mac)

Since Sony never released a wireless headset for PS4 I figured I would try out this one as it's an official licensed product and I've not been disappointed. Setup is simple, just plug in the dongle and turn on the headset, then head into the PS4 settings to adjust the headset volume and microphone level.The headset has it's own volume level buttons and a mute switch. it also has a button labelled VM (Voice Monitor) that allows you hear your own voice to find out if the people you are chatting with can hear you clearly, (Good to see this feature included)The audio quality is good, I can hear my friends clearly and they can hear me fine (which was my biggest worry as I have never had a wireless headset before and thought I would have to speak loudly for the microphone to pick me up, the microphones on the cheap wired headsets are terrible)I did have a minor issue with the headset when I first received it and contacted support on Saturday night, they replied Sunday morning. After a few emails back and forth, the problem was solved.Overall I am pleased with the headset and the overall build quality.

It's work perfectly, clear voice, clear sound. I'm really happy with my purchase i plug the USB dongle into my ps4pro and turn on the headset, after that i feel something wrong with my voice/sound is clear but not loud enough i read setup instruction then i find i have voice monitor option "that VM button" I pressed that button, that's it everything works fine. I'm looking for something like this near two years, in this two years i bought other wireless headset on this type "mono headset" and belive me they are junk, no clear voice, no clear sound, i hear chopper sound, all the time problem with pairing bluetooth and other issues. I recommend this to anyone who wants use this for voice chatting "on ps4, ps3 or sometimes for gaming" and wants play and enjoy with 5.1 surround sound speakers.

Right from the start, the most annoying thing about this headset is the earpeice. The cushion that sits over it falls off constently, to the point where I just rest it in place now as its so fiddly to re-attach.I used the headset pretty much every evening, but today the mic just died. I have my old headset, so have gone back to using it until i buy a new one.

I had a Bluetooth similar to this one that lasted about five years. The manufacturer here in the US stopped producing them for some reason or I would have purchased another one. Mostly gave this five stars simply because this is the only mono headset available for the PS4. I have had this one for about two weeks and so far it is better than some of the negative reviews. I like the earpiece because it is made to lay on the ear instead of in the ear. The ear clip is kind of tight but it is to keep the headset in place since it lays on the ear. The sound coming in is good and the volume control on the headset comes in handy. On of the guys online said it sounded like I was in a well but the other guys say it sounds good. My only complaint is this is advertised with a 6 hour battery and I only get about 3. Over all it is better than using headphones over both ears just for chat or being tethered to the controller. I thought this was pretty good especially for the price so I've ordered a second one before they're gone. Cheers!

I’ve only given this 3 stars because it’s the only PS4 compatible wireless mono chat headset. The battery lasts for 2-3 hours which is pretty poor, but what makes it even worse is the ear piercing BEEEEEEEP that it makes every minute or so when the battery is low. It left my ear ringing. Sound quality is okay.I’ve gone back to a wired mono chat headset now.

The headset looks nice, it's very comfortable, sounds good, blocks out noise and has some nice features. The only issue is that mic makes a loud noise whilst you are charging your controller and have the headset plugged in at the same time, not sure if this is an issue everyone gets or just me.It's a very solid headset and one I'll probably use for some time.

GreetingsI thoroughly enjoyed this headset after going through an array of others. However like those said others I've parted with, this has fallen into the same problem.It stopped working.After barely even any usage at that! I did enjoy the sound quality however short lived it was. Just a major shame (and further upset) that there's a lack of support for returns. I've not seen the links/directions here. Only a notice stating I've missed the warranty month, which ironically was the month before it malfunctioned.In summary... If you have some money to blow on these babies then go ahead and enjoy a month or 2 of good gaming, otherwise go buy something else. Another issue I had were the ear muffs, they fall off and are almost impossible to reattach - still to this date I've been unable to do so.

Absolutely amazing quality for the price, it easily feels like a more expensive headset. Very comfortable and not too heavy. Great background noise cancellation and the sound quality is quite impressive, has a bit of bass to it... Everything works fine, just plug and play. Tested on PS4 and PC. Again, astounding quality for £15.99, after going through several headsets, this by far the best I've found in the under £20 price range.

I bought this for my son for his birthday, for his PS4. The package and description clearly state it is compatible with a PS4, but it will not connect, even after charging the headset. The coating on the foam cushion is also all cracked and worn, like it was a broken used item that was sent to us.

Ich habe mir das Produkt gekauft weil ich viel über meine PS4 mit Freunden rede. Selbst wenn ich am PC bin habe ich nebenbei meine Playstation an um in einer Party zu sein.Daher hat mich das Kabel in Verbindung mit einem Controller gestört!Mit dem Gerät kann ich mich endlich auch frei bewegen!Klar, wenn man spielt sitzt man davor da stört vielleicht auch das Kabel nicht, aber wenn man nur mal mit seinen Freunden reden will, und nebenbei was anderes machen will ist dies hier die perfekte lösung!Der Sound wird aber auch wenn man Zockt gut wiedergegeben!Das Gerät wird mit einem USB Stick an der Playstation verbunden. Das Headset ist mit einem Knopfdruck mit dem Stick verbunden. Die Playstation erkennt dies und schaltet die Sound Ein- und Ausgänge sofort auf USB.Das Headset ist mit einem eigenem Mikrofon ausgerüstet. So hat man nicht, wie bei einem gewöhnlichem Dongle das Problem, ein Mikrofon am Controller anschließen zu müssen. Der Controller kann bei bedarf entspannt weg gelegt werden. Die Reichweite beträgt 5 bis 10 Meter!Das Headset hat einen eigenen Power Knopf und kann schnell ausgeschaltet werden um sich zum Beispiel stumm zu schalten.Zudem kann auch die Lautstärke an dem Headset eingestellt werden!Durch die Halterung sitzt es ideal am Ohr. Der Lautsprecher drückt nicht im Ohr, da dieser etwas größer ist und damit am Ohr und nicht im Ohr sitzt.Die Akkulaufzeit des Headset's beträgt ca. 3 bis 4 Stunden. Es ist nicht viel aber es reicht aus um zu zocken!Es gibt leider auch einen kleinen negativen Punkt den ich gerne ansprechen würde.Hin und wieder kommt es zu einem Soundproblem. Aber dies ist kein Problem! Man drückt den Powerknopf am Headset um es auszuschalten und schaltet es direkt wieder ein. Schon ist wieder alles gut!Ich habe im vergleich zu einem Dongel ausprobiert. Dies war eine war wirklich schlecht da bei der alternative ein Mikrofin am Controller angeschlossen werden musste! So konnte ich mit meinem Headset nur hören aber das Mikrofon wurde nicht mit einbezogen! Wie bereits beschrieben ist dies hier nicht so! Hier verfügt das Gerät über ein eigenes Mikrofon! Dies ist ist die beste Möglichkeit über Bluetooth!Zudem hat dieses Gerät eine Ps4 auszeichnung! Es ist also definitiv kompatibel!Der Preis ist für dieses Gerät wirklich billig! Im Geschäft selber gibt es keine so günstige Lösung!Deswegen habe ich dieses Gerät hier bestellt und würde es wieder tun!
