The cables are a little short
The USB cable from the device to the computer is 14" so the device must be close to the USB ports and the power cable is 36" so the unit must be close to a power outlet.

Very useful and convenient
I mainly bought this to read my hard drive but now I use it when I need an extra USB port. I used to have problems connecting my smartphone to my PC via USB cable, but if I connect my smartphone to this device, which is then connected to the PC, I have no connectivity issues! I don't know how or why but I'm very satisfied with it.

wouldn't work
This did not work with the hard drive I was trying to access. not sure if theres supposed to be a driver download or what but I couldn't get it to work

Nice compact SATA adapter
The USB cable is a bit short but it's compact and easy to use.2 USB 3 ports, SD Card reader in addition to HDD reader so I can use old loose HDDs for backups.There are other HDD docks but they take up so much desk space. This one is compact.comes with power supply to power 3.5" HDDs.

It feels durable, and works as intended. It even works well as a USB hub too

Hard drive works
I just use it for a hard drive which is uninstalled from my broken laptop. Very neat.
