Bought a 4x8 ft in the ‘two high’ variant but have decided I’ll actually make it as two single-height beds.The wood was good quality although rough sawn ends. These are working beds not pretty sanded wood. Went together easily.All screws were the same length and the right length for all the connections (end posts and middle connectors).I found it easy and fast to assemble with power tools. It would take a lot longer and more effort if you were using a simple screwdriver as you need to screw through into the wood.You need to use a bit of logic at the corners as there are 2 sets of pilot holes on the planks and you want to use the right one or you’ll miss the post, but it’s not complicated to work it out.The final assembled bed is strong and looks like it will keep its shape well even with an 8ft length.And it was cheaper than buying the equivalent wood at any of my local DIY stores or builders merchants.

I was drawn to this kit by the wide range of customisable sizes, as I wanted a long slimline raised bed for a narrow border. Arrived very quickly and well packaged. All required pieces were present - just one screw short. Recommend assembling on a nice, flat surface and using a cordless driver. Some of the long (front and back) sections were inconsistently sized in my kit, resulting in a few small vertical gaps in the assembled unit. A number of the pre-drilled pilot holes were in the wrong position and others were absent - drilling new pilot holes with a 2mm wood bit was no big deal though. Once assembled, it’s sturdy and looks pretty good if you don’t dwell on a few small vertical gaps. Decent enough for the money.

Arrived in time flat packed. No instructions included, a lot of chips in the wood already on arrival. It’s not a difficult assembly and does what it says on the tin but overall not fully satisfied given its cost, at the end of the day it was some wood and screws..

Do take note in others reviews..lesson learnt.Timber is fine but wet, carrier was awesome but clearly this product wasn't computerised cut or drilled as some pieces were 10mm out.Screws for part of product exceed timber sandwich depth and to actually have holes in line would be nice.Someone as this product was clearly manually produced needs to bin the templates and jig or go to specsavers as the 8ft product I wasn't expecting to have to use 2x 4ft with the worse joining method this side of a junior lego set.I'd avoid for a few simple reasons if it's not price.Nothing matchesScrew shortfall 8 No.Poor build qualityIt's lucky dip on lengths being accurateIt's even luckier to get 2 holes in lineScrews exceed timber thicknessTimber isn't the best qualityDefinitely avoid the 8ft version I'd hate to think what 8x3 etcAesthetically this product will never get pleasing motes on the 8ft version due to their woeful joint method.If you want bad product design buy itBlah blah blah.Positives: Courier was awesomeIt's a great 3D puzzle to pass an hour bloodpressure allowing

Made from good quality wood.It would be helpful if the wood was supplied with pre-drilled holes.Screws supplied but I strengthened the raised bed by adding more screws.Doesn’t take long to build the box. It was straightforward to do.End product is a good , strong, solid raised bed.

Basic box easy assembly exactly as advertised. Recommend this company.
