Testing on my Linux machine and on my mac. Works fine
This is a pretty good camera (not high res, but useful for inspection). I thought the device only worked on windows/android.However, I was able to plug it into my 2016 macbook pro, run photobooth, and select the usb camera and it worked fine. I also tried an app on Ubuntu, and it worked fine there as well.I did not need a driver or anything like that.I did some simple experiments to determine if it is waterproof (dunking it into water) It seemed fine.The hardest part of using it is knowing which way is up, which is impossible to determine from the image. I imagine it would be a similar problem for any endoscope.Also, if you are putting in plumbing, beware that gunk can quickly coat the lens obscuring the view. Again, not a problem in design, just simply physics working here.

Great little camera.
Pros: Plugs into an Android phone us USB port of PC without the need of adapters, variable lightingCons: Cable is stiff but not stiff enough to bend around tight corners.This camera needs no adapters to plug either into a smartphone or PC. The cable plug also comes with an led light brightness control--very handy. In order to operate the unit it is necessary to download an app. At first I had problems with the app resulting in views that would freeze ie the views would not follow the camera. I was able to resolve this issue by rebooting my phone. The unit is waterproof. I used this unit to investigate a bathroom vent on the roof. It worked fine for this application.

Not clear and very slow
The whole thing is not working good. Very slow when set to 1280.. and does not seemed 1280 resolution at all.. more like 560..or under 720.. if set to the slower resolution it works faster but not sharp. Fizzy images all around.

Over all ok for some jobs. some need zoom
works ok. Wish they had apps with no advertisements. Do not need non-sense clogging up my phone or tablet or pc.Also no zoom or adjustment. Needs that in tight quarters.

received as a gift for Christmas. Haven't tried it yet, but will be using it real soon.

Totally dead. Absolutely no sign of life on both an S8 or a laptop.
