Not the best, but good
It fits almost perfect to my 9 in kinkuichi knife.As soon as I slide my knife in, it crack just a little, but my knife is a little thick so I can see that happening most of the time.Other than that, good product

Works as intended
I bought a very expensive knife, that somehow did not come with a house to live in. This little wooden case works perfectly to protect my new toy. The little button on the side keeps it safely tucked inside, so no missing toes

Won't fit the knife it was made for.
I bought a Mercer 10 inch chefs knife at the same time I bought the Saya. The Saya is too small for the knife

It is not very tall
For the price, it is a knife cover and will work well for that.That said, it did not fit my Shiro Kamo 240mm gyuto(~53mm tall). It also did not fit my 8-inch Babish Chef Knife for the same reason..the saya is not very tall. Both knifes got stopped before making it all the way in the saya.50mm is probably the max height from blade to spine at the heel of the knife.
