Excact fit in wall!
I purchased this have in the wall next to my exit door covered by photo. It's fits exactly within the wooden frame. I had to add bottom just to have strong base. A little tight space for screws on wall.Overall a great deal to have conceal items safe and secure.

Terrible Safe
Product came without a manual. Looked up how to program and it won't program. There must be someone's code in it. Siren keeps going off when trying to program. Cannot find the manufacturer listed anywhere. Amazon told me to go to a locksmith which I did and they don't handle this. IT is installed in the wall. How do I get info? What do I o?

Loved it..but locked it by accident and now I can't open it, accidentally left the key inside and had not even programmed it yet

Lock works sporadically. Sticks out from wall
The main reason I'm returning this is because the hinges and lock stick out so far from the face - I was hoping to hide it behind a picture frame (yes I know a thief would look there - I just don't want to advertise that we have a safe)The problem is that the hinges and key pad are so thick it would not fit behind a picture. Also the hinges are exposed, making them easier to cut with a grinder.I considered keeping the safe in spite of these issues, but I couldn't get it to unlock with the key for a few minutes, then I connected it to a USB battery pack and was able to unlock it. I tried again with the key and noticed that it stuck at a point where it wasn't all the way in. After forcing it a bit, the key finally worked. But now it won't lock again. There was no manual in the box and I'm tired of fiddling with it.Bottom line - maybe mine is defective and a different one may work for your needs, or maybe it will fail at a later date when you really need it to work.

Didn't Fit
We love the safe itself but it's exactly the size we need but the selves in the safe don't allow the safe to be installed with them. Unless there's extra room in your walls you may not want to get this safe. You can cut the 2x4 to make it all fit in but that's doing a lot.

Doesn’t come with instructions and the video provided by Amazon with a start code and program instructions doesn’t work to open the safe
