One of the best USMC badges I have found, magnets hold very well. Paint and detail is top notch. A must have for any Marine.

I can only speak to this second hand since I bought it as a gift for my brother who was recovering from knee surgery. The day it arrived to his house, my sister-in-law video taped his reaction and it was priceless. For an old school Marine and after recent surgery it was really neat to see the big smile this invoked from him and the motivation to keep pushing strong during PT. I also am a former Marine (1 of 3 in our family of 6 kids and 2 of us combat vets), it never ceases to amaze me on how powerful this simple emblem can be in helping us when we feel at our weakest. I was also able to hear the metal when he gave it a pat and his wedding ring tinged it. Sounded pretty solid and looked really good...again this is second hand but I hope the sear fact of the powere behind this emblem is enough to purchase this. I would highly recommend to my Marine brothers and sisters and anyone looking for a unique gift for a Marine. Semer Fi all!

This was a gift to by older brother. He was a Marine for 28 years. He said he needed a magnet to hang his DNR on his fridge. This one was the right one. He loved it.

Look I did spend 12 weeks earning the title of a Marine. 12 weeks that still haunts me nearly 40 years later today. This is a very cheap crappy symbol to that memory and it wouldn't pass at no time the boot camp grade in that I dealt with daily earning that title of a Marine.Look close (zoom in) at it (I didn't) as it's nothing more than a high gloss painted up decal embossed on metal to look like it's having gold & silver tones in metal. Then the eagles wings tops are short of filling the contour shape, in turn leaving white exposed there and which WHITE is seen on all around the nearly 1/8" sides of it. If you look other than head-on point blank at it the white edges are like a sore thumb your vision trips on.What looks like silver metal is only white and gray paint is all with shading applied. Then what's the 12 stars to represent? There were 13 original colonies and the Marine Corps have always been Americas go to champion. So why just 12 stars for the 12 weeks of hell earning the title of Marine NO I think not because leathernecks don't bother to ring their own bell. Nope I'm sorry I bought it and I would not buy ever again.
