R1 button fell off after 2 weeks!
EditedAfter 2 weeks of use the R1 button fell off in a dungeon! How frustrating that is! The button only has 2 tiny tabs to hold it in place and one of them broke😡 Of course no warranty info in the box! After 2 weeks of use I have to figure out how to reattach it so it can use the controller. As far as being a game controller, to me this one is probably above average. It has features that can really be handy especially for someone who is not controller savvy, like me.One feature I really like about this controller is that since I have limited mobility in my hands, this has two macro buttons on the bottom of it so the buttons on top that I can’t reach conveniently i can re-map them to the two macro buttons on the bottom which makes it a whole lot easier for me to use. The macro buttons can also be used to create a sequence of button presses that you do on a regular basis so you only have to Press the macro button to duplicate that series of button presses. The only real complaint I have is the phone clip. There are absolutely no instructions about how to use it. I spent some time fiddling with it and finally got the clip on the controller and I thought OK problem solved. Not so fast! I put the phone on the clip and the clip fell off! With no instructions on how to use it clip I have no clue what I’m doing wrong or if I’m doing anything wrong! If you want to use it with your phone, that may be a deal breaker.Except for that one thing, the instructions are above average for a device made in China. It tells you what features you can use with what system and how to connected to each of the different types systems, such as Android, iOS, Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. The only thing that is not addressed in the instructions, besides the clip, is what the extra buttons do. On the top where you normally have a select and start button there are actually five buttons and none of them are labeled select or start. Since I am using the game controller with iOS, that’s not a big deal for me. But if you plan to use it with an Xbox or PlayStation you may have to do some experimenting to find out what the buttons on top do.For me, in the way I plan to use it I find it quite adequate.
