First of all, let me start by saying this review is based on this being a light weight tripod for mobile for 'on the fly' photography. In this respect I have been very impressed so far. Build quality and materials seem good and it extends to well over 6ft, all while being very light.There is some movement when used at full extension but this settles pretty quickly once you are hands off. The detachable, reversible shoe is a nice touch and the inclusion of decent quality phone attachment is welcome.Definitely buy if you are in the market for a lightweight tripod.

This tripod is good value for money but does have its pros and cons.PROSIt has a useful spirit level built in and comes with a mobile phone bracket and bluetooth remote trigger (which unfortunately I can't use as my camera does not have a bluetooth option).CONSIt is very lightweight and at full stretch I don't think it would stand up to much wind although there is a hook to hang a weight.Although my camera and lens only weigh 1.7kg when I have the tripod in portrait mode, which I do for most of my photography, it does not hold the camera in position and it keeps tipping forward. This is with maximum tightness on the camera mount.

I was looking for a sturdy tripod for my camera and order this tripod. It’s solidly built and it holds my camera perfectly. It’s well balanced as well. I would say the quality is top class. Will totally recommend it.

I decided to buy the new version since I have the old one since it is a great product and I loved it. So why not to get a new version of something that I loved? No idea this new version would be better the the old one. Bought this recently and its really good, Light weight & quick delivery,The Tripod is tall, easy to use and the quick release feature is great.The Camera i have is a Panasonic Lumix FZ-82 with a common screw thread underneath,The Quck release base screws into the bottom of the camera and you can leave it there whilst your out and about, The camera then slots on/off the tripod with ease. The stablity of the tripod helped gain much better clearer pics
