Great USB headset
These are awesome headphones. Light weight, so comfy, and crystal clear. I switched to USB wired headset from Razer Kraken wireless. I was tired of fighting with battery life and ended up playing plugged in much of the time anyway. I use Nerdytec lapboard and connect my headset to that, so I have plenty of reach. USB is fantastic. There are not many pure USB headset options out there. The Razer Black Shark are a win in that department. This headset is clear, clean, super easy to use, and the mic is clear and clean as well (what others hear). There is no winner why these are getting such rave reviews.

5 stars all the way!
Razer BlackShark V2 X Wired Gaming Headset with USB connection for my desktop PC.. I had ordered this with the 3.5mm jack with splitter. I couldn't get the mic to work , there was no on screen volume indicator, the volume wouldn't turn up loud enough and there was a hissing sound.. I called Razer customer support and they determined the unit was defective.. I returned it to amazon, however I couldn't get beyond the troubleshooting page so I had to mark it wrong product received.. Amazon credited my account and I ordered the same headset with USB connection ( about $8 more but worth it ). All I can say is WOW!! I just plugged it in and the on screen volume came up! The Audio quality is better than my HyperX 300 hour wireless headset I've used the past couple years and the microphone is also much better than the expensive HyperX. The ear cushions are on par with the expensive aftermarket wicked cushions I had on the HyperX . Those Wicked ear cushions cost almost as the entire Razer headset! I made a sale on my very first business call and I couldn't be happier. For the price I'm rating at 5+ stars with the USB connector.

Great Noise Canceling for the Office
I use these to stay focused in a office enviroment. The passive noise canceling is impressive and is almost as good active. The stand out feature is the noise canceling mic. Now I can be in Zoom meeting where one of the attendees is in the same room and everyone doesn't get echos off my mic. If only the other team member would get one. I bought a second one for home so I can work on my deck and meeting attendees don't have to hear sirens and trucks drive by. (I live by a fire station) Geat quality at this price point.

Comfortable but didn't last.
I have went through several pair and have the worst luck with headsets. I purchased for team meetings at work. They were fairly comfortable and great at blocking out noise. They worked great for a few months. Unfortunately, the Mic has quit working.

Product Registration
Gather around and let me tell you a story about the dumbest product registration process in human history. For starters placing a feature like 7.1 surround sound behind product registration is just dumb. But that's not even my real gripe. I need to register my product, fine. Had to watch a quick YouTube video on how to find the S/N because I guess somehow everyone involved thought that printing instructions on black paper using a font you'd need an electron microscope to read was a cool idea. Losing a little faith, but I get to the S/N. In order to register you need S/N, Product Number, Date of Purchase, Place of Purchase, and lastly, Proof of Purchase. Check, Check, Check, Check, Check! Press Sumbit. "Oh no, it looks like your S/N is incorrect. Please check your number and try again." Let me tell you what, I tried every combination where a 0 & O or an I & 1 could have been input in error. No dice. At this point I decide to give up on registering. I guess no 7.1 for this paying customer. Try to put the earpiece back on from taking it off to get the S/N, but this thing won't go back on...and it's not because I don't understand. I've watched several videos on it. I think you just need to dabble in the dark arts in order to get the lip of the earpiece in that narrow opening. Imagine sticking your hands and feet inside a fitted mattress sheet and then flopping on a bed, hoping that you stuck all four corners. You know what? At this point I'm just done. Can't register, can't get the ear piece back on, I'm done. I figure I'll just give them to the homeless guy outside my office so at least one of his ears can stay warm this winter. Go to heave the box in the recycling bin and what do I see? There's a sticker on the bottom. Fortunately for me it was printed on a white background this time...what is that I see? That's right. It's the S/N that I needed to register. Oh, it matches verbatim what I was typing in as well. But this story is getting long, and this has brought me to my biggest gripes. WHY DID I NEED TO REMOVE THE EARPIECE IF YOU WERE GOING TO SLAP A STICKER ON THE BOX?!? AND WHY IS A SUPPOSEDLY UNIQUE NUMBER ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX?!? I need a drink.

It's comfortable and great audio and mic quality.
I've been using these for a bit now, can't say a single bad thing about these. They feel very comfortable and have really good audio quality. I've been told the microphone is fantastic while gaming online with friends. Bottom line, this is the one to get for a reasonable price.

Quite mic
Pretty light but feel a little cheep. My old headphones were metal so I might just be biased.Sound is good for the price, and the mic is very clear, however my friends are telling me that I’m now very quiet. All my input volumes that I know about our maxed and some can hardly hear me.My first thought to remedy this was to just pick up an external mic, however the mic on these headphones isn’t removable.Nothing about them are a deal breaker but just things to keep in mind.
