This saved my cellphone!
My phone got soaked in a rainstorm, so I put it, opened up, in a Ziploc bag with a big handful of these. That night it was dry and running again.

Maybe if you're not dealing with food.
I don't like the way the food sticks to the outside of the package.The stuff works fine though.

I’ve been searching for a good moisture absorbing packet and I came across this one. I purchased it and was extremely happy with the size and amount given with such a great price!
