Bishop Sheen correlates the seven words Mary spoke in the Gospels and correlates them with the last seven words Jesusspoke from the cross. Unique, scholarly, interesting, and inspirational. One can adapt the message to one's own life.

Excellent writing and you can re-read it and find out more about yourself if you are honest. I realize I have more to change within myself in order to give not more but better to others. If you want growth not just thru spirit but all ways, then read this book first slowly then again at whatever speed you believe you can.

This book was as meaningful today as it was in the past. I remember my parents, brother and I would finish dinner then go and watch Bishop Sheen every week. Most Catholics did. He said things we could all follow. This is a very good book.

These are powerful reflections on how Jesus and Mary are models of faith for us. There are some connections made that are brilliant and thought-provoking. Highly recommend :!

It took everything Christ had to speak to us from the cross, he could barely breath and his pain was excruciating.One does not waste words under these circumstances , what was he trying to convey? Read this book , listen to Christ.

Fulton Sheen has had an amazing impact on my religious life journey. His writing is as engaging as his speaking. What a mind! Fulton Sheen is eloquent as well as deeply profound in his thoughts about Christ and the meaning and purpose of every nuance of what it means to be a Christian in these modern days and his work is already about 50 years old! His insight and wit make his work readable and re-readable for me.

I purchased this book to read during Holy Week and it was a great read! I would highly recommend and I will be rereading and reflecting on it through the year as well.
