This was the book I was looking for 5 years ago as I also searched out the rich history of the Romans in Spain and Portugal - well written and concise. Tip of the hat to you Michael.

Got the Kindle and decided it was good enough to buy the physical book since a Kindle makes a useless guidebook. Will enjoy travelling around Spain and Portugal with this in hand.

This is a fascinating read! I hadn’t realised the extent of the Roman heritage in Spain (or indeed Portugal). It’s all shown here vividly in great colour photos. I plan to visit Spain next year, this book in hand!
